For the money, this is a fantastic product

Neither the mattress nor the box spring covers are included with this, but I did have to put the frame together. You will need to purchase them separately. On top of that, I have a 3 inch layer of foam mattress. I sleep very well on it. The mattress isn't that firm, more of a soft feeling than firm. You will not be satisfied with this mattress if you need a firm mattress. Soft springs provide some feel to my sleep, but they do not interfere.
