Although the top of the page says it's 80"L x 60"W x 7, the actual dimensions are 80"L x 60"W x 7. If you scroll down to the manufacturer's product description, you'll find the dimensions listed as: 5"H and a 2400lb weight capacity. 5" x 58. 5" x 7. With a weight capacity of 1200 lbs, it's 5" tall. br>br>And there's that one that's not there. 5" means it won't fit in a standard bedframe, causing the frame to break and the mattress edges to sag. br>br>It was simple to put together, and I like that I can carry a box spring up a narrow and twisty flight of stairs by myself, but it doesn't do what it's supposed to do: safely support a mattress in a frame.
We discovered that our queen-size box springs would not fit up the stairwell after moving into a new home, an older farmhouse. I was ecstatic to discover this half-fold boxspring on Amazon, but I had no idea how it would function. br>I'm very happy with it because 1) it arrived sooner than expected, 2) it was very easy to put together, 3) it fit perfectly on my bed frame, and 4) it appears to be very sturdy. It also solved the problem of navigating the narrow stairwell! I'd buy it again in a heartbeat!.
This is an incredible product! This was put together in 5 minutes by my 16-year-old son. 7 min. It's well-made, doesn't squeak, and does everything it's supposed to. Furthermore, because it folds, none of my walls were harmed in the process of transporting it upstairs. There was nothing more I could ask for. I would strongly suggest it.
This one was purchased specifically for its size, and it is incorrect! It's 1. 5 inches is a small size.
So far, everything has gone exceptionally well. My fiance and I spent tens of thousands of dollars on mattresses with wooden box springs and low-cost steel frames, which were supposed to be the best but never lasted long enough. If you're lucky, you'll make it through 5 months of replacements. But, to cut a long story short, we're glad we found this, which stands up to its weight and has a strong, sturdy steel frame that can support up to 3,000 pounds. However, I will provide an update in a few months to let you know how it is holding up. This box spring is currently being updated. On the left side of the bed, four of the small steel bars just blew up. This box spring held a lot of promise for me.
We own a two-story home with three bedrooms on the second floor and a narrow staircase. Most mattresses have some flex, allowing them to squeeze up the stairwell; however, box springs have no give and would not be able to navigate the stairwell. This was the ideal solution because it could be folded and then easily set up in the bedroom with a snugly fitting cover. It was a perfect fit for the bedframe and is extremely sturdy. This purchase has made me very happy, and I would recommend it to anyone in a similar situation. We were able to have a spare room with a queen bed instead of just a full bed.
I had my doubts about the product's claimed ease of assembly and sturdiness, but it proved me wrong on all counts. It took me less than 15 minutes to put the bed together with the mattress on top of it after taking it out of the box. It was simple to open, though getting the cover on and zipped up required some fiddling. It was a perfect fit for the frame. I was astounded by how light it was. I was worried that it wouldn't be strong enough, but it actually supports the mattress better than the full-size wooden box spring. It's a fantastic product that's simple to put together and provides the ideal solution. Buy it!.
I took it out of the bag, folded it in half, and placed it on the board, and that was all there was to it. It's simple and straightforward.
