This item was purchased by me on January 03, 2014 before I headed out on my Appalachian Trail thru-hike Because I am away a great deal, I was under the impression that this could be an investment for years to come. As we rest on a low platform, it is completely out of reach for me at The machine initially slept well, but now it has problems recovering from sleep and has valleys that prevent it from falling asleep. There is no return to the natural state for the Lucid. Lack of support is making my back achy. Mornings are especially painful as it feels like a weight is being lifted off my shoulders. As it is a twin mattress, rotating it doesn't provide any real benefit. A good amount of the hip is centered from top to bottom, from one side to another. Since sleeping closer to the edge, my rebounding has decreased on that side as well. I almost feel like my feet touch the low level platform when I walk through that valley, unless I have exceptionally heavy feet. Even if I hadn't thought much about it after sleeping on this Lucid Memory Foam Mattress for over three years, it would still feel good to me. The problem comes into play when you are gone for three months at a time or longer and the valleys persist. As soon as the Lucid arrived, I placed it on the guest bed in the back room when it opened to expand. The warranty offered by Lucid is not honored. I had the mattress for one year, there were noticeable soft spots in the mattress that caused me back pain in the morning. Lucid requires you to send an image even after you contact them regarding the warranty. Having done that, I was not eligible for a warranty claim. To honor their warranty, they need to see at least a significant indentation in the mattress. I agree that the mattress has become useless and that the company has not honored the You are better off saving your time and money by looking.

It is not what it claims to be, and you are wasting your time. We finally chose the Lucid mattress for my young son after doing extensive research in searching for a mattress to replace his toddler mattress. Our bed frame is built to adjust by Minnen, and the measurements are a little bit different from whatever the "standard" is. The mattress was described as being the exact right size, which is a width of 3/4". The length is short and half an inch. Compared to an average twin, she is thinner. The fact that a good option was found that would fit our needs was exciting to us. In other words, it was the exact measurements needed for an IKEA Minnen bed.
