There were two boxes in total. It was able to fit up my house's stairwell. It's not too heavy, and I was able to carry both parts on my own. It's as simple as putting them on the bed frame and you're ready to go. I haven't had any complaints in a couple of months.
The old queen box was just a smidgeon too big to get in and out of. I was in desperate need of a split box spring, and this one fit the bill perfectly. Fits my existing frame and mattress perfectly and is light enough for me to handle alone! For the price, it's impossible to beat!.
Because my bed was too tall, I used pedic box springs with these. I sleep on a standard inner spring mattress that isn't particularly luxurious. My lower back was aching like crazy the first night on these, which it hadn't done in a long time. These aren't very supportive, and they've caused a sag in my mattress that I didn't have before with my old box springs. I'm only 120 pounds, so this shouldn't be a problem, but it is. br>On these as well, a few of the slats were crooked. br>I'm debating whether or not I want to drag these back downstairs and rebox them for a return.
Cheap pine furring strips were used to construct the box spring. Two sections of the wood on the box spring were cracked when it arrived. Don't bother placing an order. Spend a little more money on a high-quality box spring.
My old queen size box spring wouldn't fit up the stairwell in my new house, so I ordered these split box springs, which were just right and easy to get up my narrow winding staircase. They were a perfect fit for my existing bed rails and a perfect fit for my queen-size mattress.
These are absolutely incredible. They're more maneuverable in tight spaces and perform just as well (so far!). ) as if they were regular queen-sized boxsprings. If you're in the market for a new boxspring, this is the place to go.
It was a perfect fit for the bed frame. The only issue I had was that a staple from the plastic covering was embedded in the wood frame. I was concerned that it would split the wood, but it appears to be in good working order thus far.
Within three months, one of the box spring's sides had broken into three pieces. I'm hoping for a replacement from the company. It was only used a couple of times.
