The remote control is not included in the package, although it is a super easy bed to assemble. She initially said that she would send me an entire new bed (I would have to open it up find the remote, package it back up and return the 110 pound box) and have her ship it back to their warehouse. Let me know when you can reach me again. Next week I will see if I can get a different response from you to just send me a remote. As of this writing, I received my second bed within a couple of days. As the remote did not work, however, the new bed was kept, and the old one was sent back. During the order process, Amazon took care of Freight pick-up and delivery.
The remote control is easy to use and lights up for visibility. A bed frame made from heavy duty material is very sturdy. As a result, I often sleep with my upper body elevated, and this system makes it so much easier!.

The only drawback was the lack of a working motor. The bed frame itself looked nice. My daughter pointed out that she could have paid half as much for a normal bed without an electric.
