I am happy with the progress so far! It's a really nice little bedframe. It is gentle on our little 10 lb pomeranian who likes to jump on and off the bed throughout the night, and it eliminates all of our worries about her falling off the bed. For the price, this bed looks great, the frame is sturdy, lightweight (for its size), and it is of a nice finish. I am really pleased with the whole experience. This Velcro tape made me surprised, as I overlooked it in the product description. It holds the wooden slats in place perfectly, and it is a great addition to the product. In addition to the sticky tape lining the wooden slats, there are slats on two sides of the mattress to assist in keeping it From start to finish, it took one person at most 30 minutes to unpack and assemble. I found the instructions fairly easy to follow and the parts were clearly labeled and clearly laid out This package (see image) is all packed up. Only one thing was negative about the printing it was uneven. The support posts under the center beam, for example, were about 1/3" off the floor once the frame had been assembled, causing the center beam to bow ever so slightly after weight had been placed on it. Additionally, the side beams as well as the header/footer did not align nicely on all four corners (see image), which put additional tension on the bolts and screws. The allen key fit so poorly that I nearly stripped the bolt trying to install it. There are certainly more comfortable beds to be found. At this price, not so much.

There were only a few moderate squeaks after a few weeks. Within one month this frame begins to make a squeaking sound (more like a creaking sound) as you get While there are no loud squeaks, any kind of exercise on the bed will cause squeaks as well, non-physical activity The software should stop squeaks, but there have been no squeaks during sleep or moderate movements so far. My bed has never been able to support more than 210 pounds, so I'm not sure why there's squeaking at all. It does not matter what weight you are at anytime. Even half of how much this bed frame is capable of is not enough. As well, the bed has never been abused or jumped on, and I assembled it correctly (matching the matching components and tightening the screws- Bolts must be completely inserted- Assembly is just as easy as it gets). Rather than throw the bed away, I decided to try and repair the squeak. The next thing I will try is to use Loctite Thread Locker on the bolts to reset There will also be a small line of metal that lies about 2 inches below the metal overlap between the 5 corners of the frame where the frame bolts together and the pieces of the frame interlock. I might apply candle wax to that area as well. It may also help to add rubber washers to each bolt's head in order to prevent it In the event that I need to replace the bolts, I can do so with self tapping screws Drill a hole for a screw A tighter fit is achieved by bolting in bolts. In the end, it would be best to do away with all the bolts altogether and have the frame welded in place. The old wood bed I had was perfectly quiet, and I am confident that I will receive a bed like that. Framed box spring bed provided when it was elevated with recessed (hidden) concrete blocks instead of using a conventional bed frame (I always secure my headboard to the wall to prevent it from squeaking, which is a common complaint with headboards).
I have just discovered that I really like the look of a platform bed without a box spring after having this steel bed frame installed. As a result, I am going to try to make it work, but I am unable to recommend this frame because I detest squeaks, even moderate ones like this one.

Assembling it takes only 20 to 30 minutes If you know how to use tools, it should take you 30 minutes. This was a really well-made piece, and the geometry was great. Every part of it was just the way it should be. Everything was packaged very well and there was no difficulty understanding the instructions.

I'm amazed at how beautiful the frame is. There's no other thing like it - it's as tough as buildings built to withstand earthquakes. A wizard must have packed it since it was easier to assemble than Ikea furniture. The velcro used to hold the slats in place is an innovation that I have Impress his or her special someone with this modern and sleek design.
