There is nothing better than this daybed. For now, I'll just refer to it as It has been wonderful to use the white one! My experience with it was always good. Our sash never squeaks, it's sturdy and we never have to tighten it. The only thing it does is barely move when you shake it. This is a solid piece. On the other hand, the junk daybed made life a living hell. After less than a year, the cushion felt very loose and was squeaky when even the slightest movement was made. It was usual for us to tighten the screws and to apply oil to stop the squeaks. Despite this junk daybed being a junk daybed, it would literally sway from side to side. I even duct taped wood sticks to the legs to see if that would stop it from shifting (more on It did not solve the problem. My second AVA daybed arrived last week in black, but it was the end of an era.
