My shoe collection is out of control, so for months I searched for a good deal on an ottoman to hold them. Despite the fact that I was extremely nervous, this seemed like an amazing deal to me. My order arrived yesterday, and I'm absolutely in love with I love using it at the end of my bed. It is the perfect size for my size ten (women's) shoes. It is not something I previously was able to see. I also put more shoes in the middle because I was not able to see it beforehand.
My favorite part about the rug is that it sits at the foot of my bed. This is exactly what I need to match the queen-sized bed I have. My favorite uses for it are to store pillows and throws, and not to store shoes, but since it's velcro, you can easily take the inserts out for cleaning. Its sturdy feel makes me want to sit there for a while. I really, really like it!.
This storage ottoman is exactly what I was looking for and I could not be happier with it. Having wooden furniture replaced by a soft storage unit and coffee table was necessary. I was fed up with trying to protect my 15-month-old from falling and hitting the corners of my coffee table as he learned to walk. We found this solution to be the best one. The fit is excellent and the fabric is nearly identical to our couch The legs were left off for the time being because we did not want to bother with them, and the table looks good. For toys, books, blankets, and other storage, there is ample space inside. My son really likes the safety hinge so he won't slam the box shut if he opens it to take out toys. Essentially, you could use this as a bench or as a shoe rack, but just wanted to share my experience in case you had a mom who was looking for something like this.

It looks as though they are shipping them stained right from the factory, as the stains remained under the plastic and the box was not damaged. Our return is due to the unacceptable nature of the product. The items were provided by Amazon and sold by them, but obviously are not as high quality as other Amazon products.
Arrived in good condition, but was slightly damaged upon arrival. It's amazing how much I love My first impression was that it was sturdy and had more room than I expected. No doubt, I will be able to support a good amount of weight and hold plenty of shoes. Each foot is attached with a Phillips screwdriver and comes with a bolt, a spring washer, and a flat washer. We have our tenth assembly today, Ultimately, I wanted to give it five stars, however the box got wet at some point and the plastic covering the bench opened on one end when it got wet. A red string had been tied to the plastic, so some bled onto the bench, and there is also a large water stain on the side. I will try to clean it, but I'm not certain I can. My room is too big to bother sending it back, so I will rearrange it so the doorway cannot see that end.
The only thing you need to realize is that they are mainly meant for shoes. As a result, I would probably rate it a 3 1/2 star rather than a 4. When I find that this thing does not hold up to the basic use I intend to put it to, I will report back. Despite the weather it arrived in and how large this ottoman is, the ottoman arrived without any visible problems as you will see from my attached photos. I was pleasantly surprised at that given how large it is and how well it handled the transit. It was packaged in a very basic way. There were only a few cardboard corner protectors, two of which had never been placed correctly. I was amazed to find that the ottoman remained intact despite this. Don't be fooled by the first picture, no matter how beautiful it seems. There is a color match on the top and the I couldn't get the color to show up this well in the sunlight because of my stupid camera. It is exactly as you see on the website. It looks great and it has plenty of interior space and, as you can see on the lid, you have enough room to top it off without worrying about pinching anything because it sits just above the edge. Thus, it would seem that I made a mistake by ordering this shoe ottoman instead of a regular I'm not sure if the design is because the ottoman will only be used as a shoe holder rather than anything heavier whether this is due to the "lighter" duty, but rather than a solid wall, the ottoman has been left with the frame showing through the cloth. The felt-like liner is framed by a solid wall (thin MDF from the feeling), so there is no exposed framework behind it. In either case, obviously not sure if this is because it is a shoe ottoman or because of the lower cost compared to other traditional ottomans, but you have to know for sure if you're considering purchasing this particular model. We'll see how long the floor inside the ottoman holds up to the weight of the comforters I plan to store in it. The floor inside the ottoman is also made from the same thin MDF. Despite the cushion seat's shortcomings, it is not bad. Although I weighed about 200 lbs, I did not feel it going to snap while sitting on it. However, I did hear some slight creaking from the wood so I wouldn't just sit down on it to put on your shoes if you do weigh more. The software does the job it is supposed to do in general. If you decide to use it for something other than shoe storage, be aware that it may not be able to handle the job you WANT it to do. I hope this helps someone who is attracted to the price and the looks, but can't tell from the photos if it's as sturdy as it appears.
For some reason I chose not to have black legs, and I could not figure out what color the damn legs were. As opposed to the dark brown or black shown in pictures, their skin is a lighter brown with a hint of orangey hue. Please find attached a picture I submitted. My furniture went well with it, which is fine with me. In fairness, the color of the bench is a bit lighter than what I should have gotten because honestly, it doesn't make a statement, it just Compared to the lighter grey, I think the darker grey is much more impressive.
