Pros: It's simple to put together and looks nice. br>br>Cons: as previously stated in other reviews Mechanism for cheap drawers. I wish the drawers were supported better by the included rails. They're flimsy to begin with. Only two tiny pieces of plastic keep the drawer in place. The drawer becomes flimsy and weak as a result of this. There's no way I'll be able to put any weight in there. However, some light items might be appropriate. br>br>I think I'll have to do some DYI and build my own rail system to support these drawers. However, I am dissatisfied with this purchase because it cost me $80. The only reason I like it is that it fits exactly where I need it.
I needed something to fit between two living room chairs, but I didn't have much room. A nook for reading. This small table, which is both narrow and deep, was ideal. The drawers are nice, but the shape is what I was looking for. I'm a 71-year-old woman, and I found the table to be very simple to assemble. Of course, I had a battery-operated screwdriver on hand, and they had the tools for the other types of hardware on hand as well. It's not a formal table, but it's perfect for my needs and the price. It also appears to be very nice. It's perfect for my reading nook now that I've added a nice table lamp to it.
It's all about the wood. okay. The drawers, on the other hand, are completely broken! The one with the plastic piece goes on the track, but the other just sits there and doesn't do anything. They don't fit together well and don't function as separate drawers. I'm extremely dissatisfied, especially since we paid $80 for it.
UPDATE FOR AUGUST 14: I was contacted by the company, and I was given a refund. I've given them an extra star for customer service.
. It didn't take long to put together, and I was pleased with how it turned out. That is, until I attempted to install the drawers. br>The photo I took shows how far the drawers can be pushed in. They're a disaster. I also have no idea how to contact the company because I'm not interested in returning something I already assembled.
This end table is very sturdy and true to color and size. It was very simple to put together. It's worth noting that the drawer space does not equal the table's length (only 2/3 of it), which is a flaw and something I must have overlooked in the description.
I don't usually buy furniture online, but due to a lack of local options, I settled on this end table and purchased four of them. Overall, I had a good time. br>br> An allen wrench (included) and a screwdriver were all that was required for assembly. Each piece is clearly labeled, and I was able to put all four together in a few hours while doing other things. None of the four units I received had any damage or manufacturing flaws. These tables fit nicely into some tight spaces, and the extra storage space above the drawers is extremely useful. The feet are adjustable to correct any rocking, and they complement the wood accents beautifully, as you can see in the photos. br>br>The drawers themselves are the only real criticism I have. Because it isn't stated clearly, I'd like to make sure that potential buyers are aware that these aren't on slides. They function adequately, but there are no smooth gliding drawers, as I had hoped. Basically, there's an 8-inch-long plastic rail screwed to the inside of each side, which the bottom drawer sits below and the top drawer sits on, and that's how they work. It serves its purpose, and I understand that everyone has different priorities, but I think paying nearly $100 for a particle board end table is a bit excessive. I had expected a proper drawer glide system for that price, not something that cost the manufacturer only a few dollars to produce. br>br>However, this is a lovely end table, and I'm pleased with my purchase.
I needed a small table for a small space, as did many others here. I had recently moved into a new residence and required immediate assistance. I went into this with the expectation that it would be a temporary piece of furniture. br>br>The finished product is fine, but anyone with a keen eye for design will notice how cheap it is right away. A lack of attention to details, such as non-existent non-existent non-existent non-existent non-existent non Countersunk screw holes, or even no screw holes in some cases, make it appear less finished than it could be. br>br>Assembly wasn't difficult, but there are a lot of parts, so it may take an hour (at least for the one I bought with two drawers). Electric screw drivers with interchangeable bits will come in handy, but I wouldn't recommend using an electric drill for construction. The particle board isn't sturdy enough to withstand a simple error. br>br>Overall, it fulfills my needs in a cramped space, and that's all that matters right now. It's a functional piece of furniture with a nice, but slightly shabby appearance.
end table of appropriate size The structure of the table is extremely sturdy. The drawers themselves are sturdy, but they only fit snugly into the frame. br>br>Assembly was a breeze. All of the components are in good condition. The pieces were well-labeled and fit together nicely. The instructions are mostly pictures, and you'll notice that boards 4 and 7, as well as 5 and 6, are flipped between diagrams if you look closely. br>br>Because the rustic coloring didn't match my decor, I had to paint the pieces before putting them together: On the top surface, I used Rust-Oleum spray paint and a couple coats of polyurethane. So far, there have been no nicks, and it appears to be in good condition. When I first opened the box, one of the pieces was cracked. The seller was quick to respond and sent out a replacement right away.
