When I was looking for sublimation blanks, I came across these bottle openers. Despite looking identical to others that do, these do not work for sublimation. Now I'm sitting here with eight bottle openers that aren't going to work for the purpose I had in mind for them. This listing should be updated so that sublimation blanks do not appear. They're near the top of the list, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who fell for it. It was a good lesson. Even if the star rating is good, always read the reviews.
These appear to be a little large, but they appear to be well-made. The bottle opener has a great weight and feel to it, and it's ready for personalization with engraving, powder coating, or vinyl. br>Because these blanks do not yet have a polyester rich powder coating, they will not accept heat transfer images right out of the box. I've coated them and subbed them in for them, and they're quite lovely. br>If you're looking for a low-cost, high-quality bottle opener, I'd recommend these both individually and as a set. I would also advise businesses that make promotional or novelty gifts to do the same.
As a former bartender, I was very particular about the bar at my wedding. We chose a limited number of high-quality self-serve options. Bottle openers were required because there would be a lot of craft beer drinkers at the event, and my fiance didn't want my mismatched collection of openers out and about, so we decided on matching ones for each table. The plan was for people to take them home, but these were so much nicer and sturdier than I expected for the price that they'll be staying in my collection.
This is 1/8" sheet steel that has been laser cut, placed in a box, and sent away. The edges are a little rough. And a beveled edge would be beneficial. I'm sure they're fine, but I was hoping for something a little more refined and ergonomic.
The sharpness of the edges is noticeable. When I use these, I get the feeling that I'm going to cut my skin. Because of this one flaw, I'm giving it a four-star rating. The problem is solved by using my belt sander to hit the edges. Aside from that, these are excellent bottle openers that are both easy to use and sturdy.
I put them all over my house (kitchen, bar, patio, etc. ) and added magnets to make them even more useful. handy. These are solidly constructed. I'd purchase it again.
I've also been using my first "prototype" for quite some time, so I can attest to its durability!.
Perfect for adding a personal touch to gifts! They're bigger than I anticipated, but I've only tried them on one beer so far. They scratch easily in my opinion, but it is to be expected that they will wear out over time.
