Wife worked as a serious professional bartender in her twenties, and we have a "fancy" Coca-Cola machine. Cola speed opener that wasn't cheap, but it has sharp edges that hurt your hands when you use it, and it also breaks the tops off beer bottles every now and then. br>br>The last time one of my bottles broke, I went to Amazon and searched until I found these. Some people may find them too big, especially if they aren't used to the size and weight of a professional opener, but if you want a large, solid, professional opener that is also comfortable, these are the ones to get. If my wife was still working as a bartender, she said she'd have 20 of these at home and a couple in the car. They're ideal and reasonably priced.

I had to return these because I didn't pay attention to the product dimensions; they were the shape I wanted, and I assumed they'd be a standard size opener. "JUMBO BOTTLE OPENERS," for example, should be the product's title. I could have gotten past their length, but they don't even narrow in the middle, where you grip it. As a result, they aren't quite as good as they should be. Seriously, they appear to be a comedic prop or a device designed for people with specific disabilities. It's similar to those "old person" phones with the large numbers. They are functional and durable. They're just not comfortable to hold, and they're about twice as big as they should be.

They're well-made and perform admirably. The rubber does not slide around in your hand, and the steel does not flex or appear soft. The design makes it easy to open bottles. They are, however, extremely inconvenient to use. The price is reasonable, and they perform as expected, so I'll deduct one star for the lack of comfort; however, if I had to use these all day, the poor handle shape could become an issue.

These openers have done exactly what I expected them to do so far - Bottles of beer and soda pop are being opened. They appear to be well-made and heavy-duty (but not too heavy). It's too early to tell how they'll hold up or if they'll rust before they're used at the lake and beach, as well as on the patio. One is in the kitchen, one is on the patio, and one is in the truck. When I start using the boat again, I'll most likely buy another one. I've had others like this, but they always seem to get 'lost' when I bring them to BBQs, tailgate parties, or people's homes.

Does exactly what I'm looking for in the style that I'm looking for. This will last you a lifetime if you use it at home. I purchased the three-pack, and after a few friends saw them and loved them, I gave away two and purchased another set. I like how the handle is coated rather than painted or colored in some way; it's heavy duty enough to let you know you're not buying a toy.

I like how you can get a lot of the same things for a low price. They work great, and I have them in our bar area, kitchen, and office, bringing a sense of cohesion throughout the house for a simple item that we use on a daily basis in multiple locations.
