If you work on automobile HVAC systems, this is a must-have tool. It provides a good reading and appears to be accurate.
The fact that this Robinair 43230 Swivel Head Digital Thermometer will not turn on is something I dislike about it.
I'm very pleased with it; it's exactly what I was looking for.

After replacing the battery, it performs as expected. This is the only digital thermometer I've found with a swivel head; this needs to be read from a position high above the ground, so the ability to rotate the readout 180 degrees is extremely useful! br>br>On the other hand, if you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, this is the place It arrived as dead as a door pin, and when the battery was tested, the output was zero. When it should be 1, 788 volts is used. 5v. LR44 or 357 can be used as a substitute.
I ordered two canes, one with a dead battery and the other with a working battery. After replacing the battery, everything is working fine.
This is an excellent product, and I am extremely pleased with it. br>br>It's simple to use and accurate (I tested it against a platinum resistance thermometer). br>br>On the down side, the battery doesn't always make good contact with the metallic piece it's supposed to meet; I had to push the battery in the direction of the contact point with a piece of tissue.
It's fantastic.
