No idea what kind of crabs you plan on eating, but you should be able to crack blue crab/king crab and Alaskan crab just fine with the cracker.
Forks and probes are metal Crackers are made of metal, but I'm not sure what red things you call them that split shells like scissors. You can wash all of these items in the dishwasher.
The quality is really good. It's probably from China, but I'm pretty sure it said so. A bed, a bath, and a kitchen In addition to having nothing to choose from, Beyond was well worth the money spent on three purchases.

The price was well worth it!.
The crab legs we serve at Christmas dinner have been a tradition for generations. The delicious meat has been slipping out of them over the past decade due to the difficulty of breaking them open. It was then that a light bulb turned on! Here are a few crackers we need! I'm amazed at how different these are. This is a very easy to use and clean product. Our lack of purchase of these years ago is amazing. Those who enjoy hard shell crustaceans should not miss out on these.

Besides being small and cheaply made, these crackers taste like cardboard. My childhood was spent on a small island in New England. I have used these kinds of products often and they did not impress me. They are debating whether or not to return them.
I have never seen a better set of seafood crackers. The crablegs we eat at home are cooked by us. It was a great find not only for the price, but also for the speed with which they arrived. The set came with additional utensils I did not even know I needed, and it came with a container to keep them all in one place in the event you need to get them out. The material is very durable and has an elegant appearance. These can be used to set up any table. It's great to have them!.
The service is good and I've used it only a few times to visit.
On the first night that we used them, one of the cracker handles broke in half and another This was an embarrassment since I had 15 people over for dinner and the tools didn't work! It is not a product to recommend.
