Based on the responses, it's possible that the volume varies depending on the manufacturer. My package arrived yesterday_2020- 30_and there's no way it'll hold 16 oz because my 2 cup (16 oz) measuring cup still has 5 oz of water in it after I've filled the pot completely. It was disappointing because I didn't want any honey left in the jar after I had filled the pot.
Mine is a bright white color:)
I used it a lot at first, but less so as time went on, and yes, gnats were found in the honey. I'm going to keep it as a piece of decor for the time being.

Honey from my jar Although the dipper arrived on time and in excellent condition, it does not hold 16 ounces of liquid. I bought it not knowing if the color would work in my hutch, but it turned out to be perfect for the summer look I was going for. The yellow is a lovely golden color, and those adorable little bees were purchased on eBay to finish the look. My purchase was a great success. A+ Rating.
When I placed it on the buffet table, I discovered it was crawling with ants. Prior to this, I had never had an ant problem. I threw out the newly purchased container as well as another $20 worth of honey right away. Not only was I humiliated, but I had also spent $45. It turned out to be a bad investment!.
