The top is made of plastic. The jar is made of glass.
The large jar of honey I bought is great and I'm glad I went ahead and got it. That saved us a lot of time and trouble! This is the perfect size for kids.
The top is made of very cheap plastic. I returned to my office immediately.
I was broken when I arrived. I didn't think it was worth the money. Take a look at the photos. I DO NOT think $14 is worth it. The 95th birthday! broken, but as you can see from my pictures the plastic material used is very similar to what you'll find at the Dollar Store so even if it doesn't arrive broken, it will surely break within a few weeks of use that much I promise. Don't spend the time or money on this and choose a different route.
It turns out the top is plastic. I should have read the description more carefully.
Keeping honey fresh and hands free of sticky residue is easy with this dripless dispenser.
Get the one with the metal top by spending a few extra dollars. The cap is made of plastic, and the top won't even open far enough for honey to escape. It is probably okay if you use it to make vinegar, but if you need syrup or honey thickness, then you should not use it.
I love it. A pot made of resistant glass is topped with a lid painted with silver to seem like metal, but that's actually made of silver painted plastic. That is a very nice photo.
