There's about a 2 inch depth to it

Do you know if this piece of granite is solid?

Both the moral and the pestle are made of solid granite. They weigh quite a bit. Nearly one pound is just the weight of the pestle.

Unfortunately, I do not have any cumin seeds or whole coriander seeds. Does it matter if I don't have one for preparing the mortar and pestle?

In the process of carving granite, bits of granite may be left behind. Using rice will keep these bits clean. It will be used to flavor the pestle and mortar with garlic, coriander, and cumin. There are instructions for preparing the box on its outside.

We started grinding rice with an entirely new machine, right out of the box
3/5

Fresh out of the box, we started to grind rice according to the instructions, but the grinder broke in half while grinding the rice. Have you contacted the seller and they referred you back to Amazon? A very disappointing experience.

The workmanship was poor, and the material was not durable! I used it for several months, and it fell off after a while

To prepare this dish, grind 3/4 cups of rice into dust three times, then season with garlic powder
3/5

We looked inside and found the surface to be After girding a small bit, I was left with a lot of sand and rocks. As per the instructions, 1/2 cup of rice was put in and the grinder was started. In total, I spent 3 hours girding rice (with about 45 minutes on each go while watching television). I had not finished this first batch by the end of the afternoon. There's so much work they expect you to do! I can't imagine how much work that is! I am still getting fine stone particles in my grounds even after girding with rice for 4 hours! Finally, I seasoned it and it was good to go. Garlic would be a good product for this There's a delay between when it's ready and when it gets to the customer and it comes out.

Stone value as it naturally occurs
4/5

Natural stone mortar like this does not come at a better price. The size of this grinder makes it perfect for grinding spices and herbs into powders. It is difficult for most people to understand how seasoning works. As far as I can tell, the dried rice grind portion is designed to remove any small stones that are only loosely attached to the mortar and pestle's grinding surfaces. As a result of grinding salt and garlic into the stone, some natural oils are supposed to be absorbed into It is possible for you to consume stone chips or granite sand if you skip these steps.

I cannot believe how good this product is for the price

Please place a folding paper towel under the stools or add some felt or cork to the bottom of the stools if you have granite or stone counter tops to prevent them from scratching or causing your spouse to become enraged. Seasoning a pot is almost the same as seasoning a cast iron pan, so you might as well season this. With rice, it takes out the granite dust from the mortar and then fills in the deeper pockets with oil from the garlic paste and salt to prevent bacteria from growing in the granite porous base. Deposits of salt left behind will create a saline base that will prevent bacteria from growing. Grinding is the only way to go. As the pestle is striking the mortar bottom in a chopping motion, fractures in the granite will start to appear that will eventually cause the mortar bottom to fall out or the pestle to be broken. Reading the negative reviews of the product, I suspect that it may have been more a case of user error rather than poor A pestle and mortar is for grinding and mashing nuts and seeds, not making one big noise.
