We had to purchase the entire kit separately, when the macaroni mold was all.
The Philips Avance pasta maker is amazing, and I have bought all the accessory disks I could get in case the company ceases making them. Shells, rigatoni, macaroni, and paccheri can be made using this set of disks. In particular, I would appreciate instruction on how to shape and cut the shells, since it takes some practice to get them right. Instruction on which recipe type works with the shape and when to cut them would be an added plus. In my opinion, macaroni and rigatoni are easy to make than shells or paccheri, the last because most people are not familiar with the wide, short tube shapes. My first mistake had been cutting them too early that I had ruined them I ended up making them look more like cups You can let them curl a lot further before closing them up tighter. It took me some time to get the proper shape by guiding the end under while the shells were extruding. In order to write a review, I wanted to use this for at least a few weeks. We would recommend buying a food scale as the most important thing to do. Using semolina flour and mixing with egg and water, I created a flour paste. As long as you add the correct ratio of flour to liquid, the machine functions flawlessly.
These are reasonable priced for 4 plastic pieces that are simple to assemble. I've taken off one star due to overpricing for 4 simple pieces and some of the heads are hard.
My god, these disks are amazing! Easy to store and clean, plus they're great additions to my collection. One of the best things about them is their affordability. My pasta is now a whole lot better thanks to you, Phillip.
My pasta molds have become so useful since I acquired them that I have been making it every couple of days. Even my relatives come over to make noodles so that we can share. The noodles are easy to make, and the best part is that it is pure pure food, no chemicals added.
I am glad I bought it because it has given me more interest in.
