Questions & Answers
The scale will automatically zero if you place the food on it and then turn the switch on. This is an extremely clever feature. I discovered this information in my scale, which I received just a few days ago. As a result, the images will not be incorrect.
'Schrodinger's cat,' hehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehe Patricia, I weigh my parrot on my scale. I just need to get him to stop moving for a second, which I do by holding an almond in front of his face. When cats see something that interests them, they usually freeze for a moment. Make an unusual sound, such as a distressed mouse squeak, as an alternative. In order to figure out where the noise is coming from, your cat will most likely freeze. Allow the cat to play in the box before placing it on the scale so that it becomes accustomed to it.
That's for "scale" (it's not a big deal: It's food, not people, that you put on it.) Yes, these have been photo-shopped, which is fairly common on Amazon. (If you click on the strawberries and then move your mouse over the different colors, you'll notice that they're all the same strawberries.) ) For a more realistic picture, check out the review photos.
I was also curious as to whether or not it would turn negative. Negative measurements are used for the following reasons: If I'm making a recipe and need to add 20 grams of honey, I put the open honey jar (without the cap weight) on the scale and tare or "zero" it instead of messing up a measuring cup. After that, pick up the honey and put in approximately 65% of your desired weight. After that, return the honey jar to the scale. The amount it shows as a negative number is the number of units (for me, usually grams) you added to your recipe; pour in until the scale registers as a negative number what you were looking to add (in this case, it would say - at the end). 20g).

It was an excellent solution. Loved it. That was only a two-week experiment. After two weeks, it broke and is no longer functional. Because I was unable to return it, I left a negative review. The seller contacted me and requested that I remove the review and that he refund my money. He explained how he changed scale manufacturers due to ongoing issues with the scales he had previously purchased. I took down the review 9 days ago because he appeared genuine. Despite my repeated attempts to contact him, I have yet to receive a refund, so he will now receive this review. It's not only a faulty product, but it's also from a seller who doesn't follow through on his promises.
I bake bread at least once every two weeks, sometimes more frequently depending on demand, and I've always been frustrated by the disparity in loaf and boule sizes. We put off buying a kitchen scale because we have limited space in our kitchen because of its overall size. After baking bread the last time, I decided it was time to see if a scale could be found that was small enough to store while still providing accurate weight measurements. I looked at a few of the different scales available on Amazon and decided that I didn't want one that used a watch battery, and I also didn't want one that rounded the numbers up. This Ozeri Pronto scale has a low profile, runs on two AAA batteries (included with the scale), and is accurate to within /- 1%, as determined by another reviewer of this product.
This Ozeri Pronto food scale was used for making both English muffin and Black Canyon sourdough breads. The English muffin bread was divided into two loaves, while the Black Canyon bread was divided into six sections. This time, I made three loaves with our new bread machine.
For the past few months, I've been using this scale. It's something I use on a daily basis to track my food. At first, the scale appeared to be in good working order. However, it has begun to cause me problems in the last few weeks. When I tare an item on the scale, the reading fluctuates or jumps up and down by fractions of an ounce within a second or two. I experimented with several different surfaces to ensure that it was set on a level surface (despite the fact that the surface I was using was the same as before). I experimented with a variety of containers and items to see if my container was the problem. I'm extremely dissatisfied with the scale's quality and (lack of) longevity.
This was purchased to weigh ground coffee beans, and I've been using it on a daily basis. It worked fine for a few months before suddenly beginning to show negative weight on the scale (one gram at a time) a few seconds after turning it on and for as long as you leave it on. If you zero it out, it simply repeats the same process - As a result, you can't rely on what it says when you start weighing something because it shows a lower number than it should. I tried replacing the batteries with brand new ones, but the problem persists. br>br>I'm embarrassed that I didn't read the reviews before purchasing - I'm starting to realize that I'm not the only one who has had problems with this scale.
This is a fantastic little food scale for the price. The seller, however, only listed the resolution and not the accuracy specifications. So I took a look at it and discovered that it contains photographs. *Note: br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br All weights (class F) are calibrated and traceable to NIST. br>br>I ran a simple test at four test points: 1000, 2500, 4000, and 5000 grams, with readings of 1000, 2500, 4001, and 5004 grams, respectively. br>br>I would rate this scale's accuracy at /-. 1% of reading 1 gram of reading 1 gram of reading gram br>br>Which, at this price, is pretty amazing.
This is the less expensive but still highly rated pick from America's Test Kitchen's online reviews (youtube). It's incredibly simple to use, in contrast to some of the other apps they tested, which had confusing menu buttons and too many features. It's a precise scale that's also light and easy to clean. My largest mixing bowl fits nicely on the surface. I like that I can keep adding ingredients while the bowl is on the scale by pressing "tare" between ingredients. It's a lot easier to measure now. It is the best on the market at the listed price.
