So now I'm fully committed to this blueberry endeavor, and I purchased the scale specifically for that purpose. When my scale arrived, I was surprised to discover that it came with a dog! (Which was fantastic, but they should have warned people so that they could prepare.) ) Then I read on October 18, 2019, that Linda had returned her dog who had eaten the blueberry muffins that came with her scale, and I'm pretty sure that's where my dog came from. In honor of my new scale, I've given him the name "Gram."
To be sure, yes. It can be covered with a bowl. When you turn it on, it will begin at zero. Then you can put a weight on it.
Hello, Saundra G. The maximum weight is 11 lbs/5000 g. Thank you, Nick.br>
This is something that I wish scales didn't have- Changing the "gm" to "ml" is all it takes. "br>Many kitchen liquids have a concentration of around 1 g/ml, so they're not far off. Oils have a concentration of about 0. Because the density of water is 9 g/ml, a reading of "10 ml" would actually be 10 gram, or about 11 ml. Honey, on the other hand, is thick. about 1. 4 g/ml. A reading of "10 ml" would be 7 grams in reality.

It was my fault; I misread what I was reading. It only received three stars because the battery that was supposed to be included was not included. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> For weighing anything small, this scale is useless. I was putting on weight in half-gram increments with no change in the scale's readings. I got up to 18g and it still read 0; the only way I knew it was 18g was because it said - when I removed it. 18g. To register any change, weight must be added in increments of more than 2g. I consider this scale to be a complete waste of money.
br>Original Reception: br>My package arrived today, and it appears to be a high-quality scale that was ready to use right away, instinctively. However, they have simple instructions for the minor details available on the internet, so it's a piece of cake. br>br>I have to say, this company has left a lasting impression on me. Look at the image I posted and, if you can, read the details. Talk about giving back and reducing waste! They're also running a contest with the little temporary tattoos opposite the scale in the same photo, which you can learn more about on their website. br>br>I think I got a lot more in the box than just a scale, which sounds so hokie, I know. However, once I've finished writing this review, I'll return to their website to see what else they have going on.
I'll say that for anyone looking to improve their health, the first step is to eat well, and in order to do so, you'll need a good food scale. br>br>After looking at dozens of scales, I decided to go with this one because the company appears to have a great product that looks good, is reasonably priced, and is a trustworthy company. I have a minimalist kitchen and dislike clutter. Whether I store it on the counter or in a drawer, this scale looks fantastic. It's slim and sleek, with multiple measurement options and a simple interface. The oz. unit is what I usually use. For those who have never used a food scale before, the gram setting is the best option. It's a BREEZE to do! If I'm making chicken tacos, for example, I'll start by weighing the plate and two tortillas. After that, I'm going to zero it. Then, when I add my chicken, I'll know exactly how much I'll be eating without having to wash multiple bowls or plates. Then I zero it out and begin adding cheese, then zero it out and add more toppings. It is simple to use and aids in the counting of calories. It's even better if you use an app like MyFitnessPal to track your food intake. br>br>The first one I bought stopped working soon after I got it (it kept saying "low battery" and turning off even after I bought new batteries), but the company quickly sent me a replacement. Because of this, I gave it a 4/5 rating, but if it holds up, I'll give it a 5/5. It's possible it was a one-time thing. Thank you for taking the time to read and rate my review. br>br> Greetings, and best wishes for your new healthy way of life!.
As a result, the exercise is futile. The product isn't accurate by more than half an ounce of food. For my diet, this is way too much.
If you're not willing to change the battery once a week, it's pointless. The battery is only good for a few days of light use before it dies. It's a nightmare situation. It's also not like this is an AA or AAA battery that we all have on hand. If I wanted to keep using it, I'd have to order batteries once a week. Otherwise, I would have returned it if I hadn't thrown the packaging away. br>br>I wish I had paid more attention to the reviews. br>br>Do yourself a favor and switch to a different scale. Because of how quickly the battery dies, this one is useless.
This scale appeared to be very nice right out of the box, and the packaging and aesthetic are both very nice. However, I only used it for a short time because the scale was prone to jittery numbers when I tried to zero/tare or change units. Buttons don't "press" as well as they used to (my old scale was 2kg max and $5 from a thrift store, and it worked perfectly). The scale will add weight if you apply any amount of pressure to the buttons, but tapping won't change the function. I returned it because the lack of "oomph" required to push buttons bothered me, and watching the numbers jumble around worried me. It looks good, but the parts need to be less finicky.
The scale is low-cost in every way, and it is wildly inaccurate when weighing in grams.
This is our second scale, this one red, and we use it twice a day to weigh our small dogs' food. Our first one is still functional, but it's in storage with my daughter's belongings - We have to wait for her to return before we can get it out because it was packed by accident - But don't worry, I'll have one for travel and another for at home now. br>I just got it, so I haven't had a chance to do anything other than make sure it turns on, but one thing I notice is that the feet are wiggling and making a lot of noise; I'm not sure if this will make a difference, but hopefully it will - However, this is the best scale I've ever purchased, and I've owned quite a few. It is CONSTANTLY ACCURATE, LIGHTWEIGHT, and EASY TO USE. br>Thank you for putting forth the effort to create an AMAZING SCALE!.
