I've had mine since May 2017, and I've been using it on a regular basis. I shook out as much water as I could and let it air dry after I washed it. So far, there has been no rust. The blade is not a smooth straight line, and the edge is serrated, so it snags on my towel when I try to towel dry it. This blade is extremely sharp.

I bought my fourth peeler because I like it so much. Three of them are for me, and one is a gift. Mine was always in the dishwasher, so I bought another, and then they were both in the dishwasher at the same time, so I bought yet another! I'm looking forward to the day when all three of them are in the dishwasher and I can get back to work! lolbr>br>I buy them in bright colors so they're easy to spot in my drawer because they're sharp, and a vegetable peeler is one of those items I always have to rummage through - These, however, are not. br>br>Recently, my daughter stayed with us and said that she thought the pink one would be terrible because of the cute bright color, but she said it's fantastic! As a result, I had to purchase one for her as well. br>br>It's the sharpest vegetable peeler I've ever used, and it peels very thinly, which is beneficial because many of a vegetable's nutrients are found just beneath the skin, so you don't want to remove too much. br>br>I'm very pleased with these peelers, and after using one for a couple of years with no loss of sharpness, I believe mine will last a lifetime. br>I'll be leaving a couple to each of my children in my will!.
I bought this to use behind the bar because I thought the bright color would help me keep track of things. It does. It produces nice narrow strips with cleaner edges than a typical peeler. It's ideal for my needs. More will be bought. The handle is hard and narrow, and your hand will cramp if you use it for long periods of time.
I read somewhere that a serrated peeler can be used to peel butternut squash. Despite my reservations, I decided to give it a shot. This one, to my surprise, worked perfectly. Even the toughest peels are easily sliced. When compared to using a knife, it saves me a lot of time and is extremely light and ergonomic. Because the cutting surface is a little smaller, you may need to repeel between your initial passes to clean everything up, but this isn't a big deal. I paid $5 and would do so again in a heartbeat.
I was a little hesitant at first because I'd never used a serrated peeler before, but after using it over the holidays, I'm ready to purchase another one for my parents. If you're looking for a peeler that fits comfortably in your hand, is sharp, and gets the job done, I highly recommend this product.
This device is, to put it mildly, uh-mazing. Peaches and tomatoes are amazing. br>This is my ONLY gripe. Apart from the new piece of tape on the blade, it comes with no shield. The blade of my standard peeler is protected by a plastic cover. I lay the tape out on the counter, peel it off with the peeler, dry it, replace the tape, and return it to the box! It has a sharper edge than a standard peeler. It could be dangerous to reach into a drawer. With a cover, it's a five-star read!.
Wow, you've got a great peeler on your hands! br>I'd been using the same vegetable peeler for about eight years, and it was starting to show its age, becoming dull and worn around the edges. br>I was browsing when I came across this peeler. br>This is a fantastic tool! br>It's super light, and the serrated edges really grip the vegetable or fruit you're biting into for a non-slip peel. br>I give it a thumbs up! Way up! br>Plus, they're available in four vibrant colors.
I'm picky about peelers, which may sound strange. I'm the sue chef for my wife. [I'm sure I spelled it incorrectly] As a result, I peel a lot of fruits and vegetables. Her apple pies are to die for. In any case, it's very stylish and comfortable.
A peeler that could handle butternut squash was required. This is the case. The seated blades are excellent and quick, and the handle is comfortable to use. We'll see how well it stands up to multiple butternut attacks.
