The bristles are firm, but I disagree with the other users in stating that. With this brush, it is best used for zucchini, cucumbers, red or yellow waxy potatoes, etc. My only complaint is that the bristles are too soft to hold a russet potato.
I can easily hold it in the palm of my hand. Size-wise, it may be similar to Please let me know what the exact dimensions are if you want me to measure.
In other words, it's firm enough to remove most of the corn silks without damaging the kernels, if that makes sense. In my opinion, it is stiff enough to clean root vegetables, but not so stiff that it tears the skin of a thin skin Despite the recent heat, the bristles have not lost It is put in the dishwasher to be sanitized.
I believe the bristles are nylon, which is free of BPA The service is free (I found that on a quick google search). The problem with nylon is that it is toxic. This is still a common ingredient in toothbrushes, so I am not 100 percent sure how serious it

Only two uses of the brush permanently smooshed down the bristles. I like the grip portion of this, but the bristles aren't up to the task. Does this product only need to be used for delicate produce? I would never recommend this for potatoes, carrots, or any other root vegetables.
This is definitely worth checking out. It's great to have this brush! Here are some before and after photos of an scrubbing of a potato. I was amazed at how well the dirt came These brushes are very sturdy and durable as well as very stiff, which make them perfect for sweeping. A very easy gun to use and does the job well. I would definitely recommend this!.
There was once a tiny brush that was shaped and colored like a potato and had a grasping surface similar to that. My garbage disposal had gotten it a couple of times and started eating it, so I changed it for this one. It's large enough to prevent it from going down the disposal, which is a good thing. As it has more bristles, it scrubs a larger area faster than the stupid thing I used before, since its bristles are stiff, so they do a great job on a potato or carrot. With the large grip, it is sure to be easier to handle.
The process of scrubbing potatoes does not appeal to me. It's one of the things that I find a little more challenging to do because I have rheumatoid arthritis. A product that would be more comfortable and easier for my hands has been on my wish list. Having read the reviews, I thought it was well worth a shot. The first thing I want to comment on is that it fits perfect in my hand. Another thing I want to note is that in one of the reviews, they talk about how the brush was useless after just a few uses and show a photo of smashed bristles. There was no need to use excessive force to scrub the vegetables, unless the person did so in an unwarranted manner. It is totally unnecessary to use too much force with this product as it is durable enough to safely scrub your potatoes clean in a steady, but gentle, manner while it is soft enough to not damage your more delicate My experience with the product was very positive. I am able to do what I used to find uncomfortable and painful with ease and no more pain than when I began. Would I recommend this product? I am most definitely likely to do so.
I have not used it on corn yet. It has not made a cob yet, but I am confident that it will work well without damaging the kernel. I do not follow up on this review, I will do one. This tool is great for those with arthritis, so I think it would be very useful for them. I took a photo of one recently, and the size of it is similar to a computer mouse, so it does not take up a lot of space in a drawer. The top of the box says "for vegetables only" due to the fact that I'm afraid my family will use this little guy for other things.
So that I can get used to my new brush before my favorite one says farewell, I chose a new one before it bids its final farewell. There were a couple of brushes I had that were flexible and could go around shapes easily, but I have not found one * I chose this because of its simplicity. It was rubbery, and I enjoyed it as an OXO product Handle (easy to hold and to fill out I definitely like the rubber grip better because it's more comfortable to hold There is one thing I like better about this brush than my old favorite (don't tell my old brush, but this one does seem There are no bursts on the bristles, so you do not have to apply a lot of pressure in order to clean vegetables The vegetables are carrots/potatoes, for example). While the rub is gentle it still cleans them nicely (so not a lot of work/effort, great if you have arm/hand issues). Even when strong and firm they are still gentle enough to use when cleaning delicate items such as peppers or thin skin items. pleased with my purchase!.
My potato needed cleaning, so I bought a potato This Oxo potato brush appeared first in Amazon search after I typed potato brush into the search box. After reading the details, it seemed exactly what I needed. My search for the perfect solution turned out to be easy. There's no need to worry about the brush falling off when you hold it in your hand. It's just under 5" long and under 3" wide, so it's perfect for your palm. The tallest member of the family stands at 4 feet. Despite the fact that the ad says that the color may vary, I did not care about what color I got. I received was green in color, just like the one pictured in the advertisement. Using this brush will be a breeze for cleaning Our company primarily cleans organic russet potatoes, and it only takes a few seconds to scrub a baked potato to its perfect condition. Scrubbing the surface with strength and force is no problem for the bristles. When you scrub the potato skin, you can see its dirty surface turn into a clean one. It's easy to use this brush with hot water, but you could also use a vegetable washing solution if you wanted. The only thing I would like is more color options since green is not my favorite color, but since this is a utility item, color wasn't Besides potatoes, I have only used this brush for cleaning vegetables. I believe that it will work well for other vegetables I am extremely pleased with this purchase and I wish I had made it earlier. A number of Oxo products are in my home. I like the brand. High quality nylon bristles make this the perfect potato cleaning brush, and the stiff bristles clean the potatoes perfectly.
This brush works like a charm for washing eggs! All you need to do is wash the eggs, scrub them, and let them dry naturally. Using the dishwashing machine to clean the brush is safe option if you are careful. Make sure you lay the brush on its back with the bristles up out of the way, so that they don't I will likely buy another in the near future. I know it would also make a great veggie brush as well, but I would never use the same brush for both eggs and vegetables. Wax, pesticides, etc. can be taken into fresh eggs by picking them up on the veggies or fruit. That is not what you should do! It's a yuck.
