There is 120v American power available. Irrespective of its quality, it was not a good product. This is the second laptop I've replaced after 11 years of faithful service. The old one broke after some time.
The statement is not The majority of reviewers gave it 5 stars, and the remaining 12% gave it 4 There are approximately 77% positive votes in total, which represents a clear majority.
The steel blade (which punctures the can) is attached to a handle or lever your hand is used to depress in order to open the can. This one has a metal lever, as does our stainless steel version that we bought for our primary home a year or two ago, but otherwise has an industrial design identical to this one.
To date, I have only used it for soups, large vegetable cans, and various sized food containers. Good Luck! I've tried this method on several coffee cans and it has worked for each one (knock on wood)

) The fact that I had to give this product a poor review is disappointing to me. As soon as I used the can opener for the first time, the plastic lever broke apart. I do hope Cuisinart will reconsider using plastic for this very important part.
It is the best can opener ever! There have been several other openers that I've tried due to my severe arthritis. The controls on this one are simple and easy to use. When you place the can, just lower the lever, and the can will open on its own. Despite the relatively high price, the product is very good. As an arthritis sufferer, I recommend the company advertise for people with arthritis, since it makes my life a whole lot easier. As well as being lightweight, the bag is easy to clean.
Only a few times did it work, and then it stopped working. Three of the included documents The warranty requires me to secure ship it to Arizona and include another $10 for them to return it to me when it's repaired under the one-year warranty I believe Cuisinart is striking out against itself in terms of price, as their current product charges $20 more than their new one.
Due to manufacturing off shore, (China) the product does not possess the durability and a level of quality commonly found in this product type.
I still don't even have two months left on my purchase. While the motor still runs, the gear still turns the can, but the blade is unable to penetrate In some way, it seems to have pushed itself up into the cutting mechanism to the point where it can no longer perform its function Cans should be opened. Because of the near universal complaints about this can opener, it seems unlikely that Amazon should sell it any longer. The original review was as follows Several years after I purchased my electric can opener, I had to replace it. It was the type that cut under the rim of the container. I had to leave the handle pressed down until the can was fully open in order for it to work. By the end of its life, it tended to have trouble opening some types of cans, and those it opened had sharp edges. My preference was to switch back to a traditional electric can opener when it was time for it to be replaced A lid holder that has a magnetic lid, an automatic shut-off, and a capacity to hold the can until it is removed. Even though I had a hard time choosing this one, I did quite a bit of research. I did not find any electric can openers on Amazon with a perfect five-star rating, but this one came highly recommended with the features I was looking for. Although I read a couple of reviews describing the product shredding the labels when opening cans, I chalked that up to user error rather than a product design error and decided to purchase it. There was a good reason for convincing me to believe Because it is easy to use, easily opens and holds all cans of all sizes, and automatically shuts off after use, it gets three stars from me. In spite of that, it does shred labels, and it's absurd that I have to clean very tiny pieces of paper off my counter and the opener itself every time I open a can that's had Below, you'll find a few pictures to help buyers get a better feel for what I'm talking about. As you can see in the photo, I just opened a can of dog food, and you can see the paper dust left behind on the opener (with the blade just below the black lip). In the other photos you can see the shredded label below the rim of the can. This is a feature I have never seen before in a can opener. Even though Cuisinart must be aware of this problem, they have not taken any action to fix In the not too distant future, I will probably replace it with one from another manufacturer.
Cuisinart is a brand name I trust, and this can opener is simple to use and can be cleaned with ease. My favorite part about it is that I can easily open large tins or tall tins. The majority of can openers are too short to do this and they are only able to I am very pleased with how well this worked.
Cuisinart is the name by which I chose to purchase the product. Definitely a mistake. It took me a few tries to open the first can because it sat there and ground off the label. The can opener needed to be pushed in order to turn, so metal shavings were left on the bottom. I got a second can of the same failed products with I tried the third can and it worked fine. What's the problem? The item appears to be returning to me. In reality, there is only one way to attach the can. The gear turns, but the can doesn't grip on to it as it ought to. There might have been a batch of bad gears, but I got a While my last electric can opener lasted for 20 years, this one will last less than.
