Questions & Answers
Thank you for your interest in our wine aerator. The filter does not need to be replaced because it is not a consumable item. It is simple to clean and reuse.
Yes, that is my preferred option; I've had mine for years and am very happy with it. I bought two for Christmas gifts this year.
A screen sits on top of the opening through which you pour the wine. Because it's so fine, it'll catch the vast majority of particles. It performs admirably.
Thank you for your concern about our wine aerator, which had a plastic base.

This thing works on everything from high-end to low-cost!.
It does exactly what you'd expect it to do, and it's exactly how it's described. It allows the wine to breathe a little more quickly than if you simply poured it into the glass or opened the bottle. If you're bringing wine to dinner, you probably won't have time to aerate it because you'll want to open it right away. This is ideal in that circumstance. br>The same is true at home: You prepare the food, select the wine, and the wine is at its peak in a fraction of the time. br>It's not a magic tool, and it's not meant to replace real-time aeration, but it's a close second, and it's well worth the money. It's also very portable. br>.
When my previous aerator, which was the type that got stuck in the neck of the bottle, died, I decided to replace it with this one. It worked fine for a while, but the rubber gasket that held it in place eventually wore out, so it had to be replaced. br>br>At a dinner party at a friend's house, I first used an aerator of this type. I liked it because, unlike the old one I used, we didn't have to insert it into the neck of the wine bottle every time we wanted to pour. I bought one for myself because it seemed to do a great job of opening the wine. br>br>Another feature I like is that it is much easier to clean than the previous one. br>br>I am very happy with this aerator and would strongly recommend it.
Simple to work with. It's a little loud, and it sounds like someone is slurping hot soup. I'm not bothered by the noise, and neither should you be. Just to give you an idea of what to expect: we tried it on several bottles of wine and it always resulted in a smoother tasting wine.
It does a fantastic job of aerating wines. The product and stand have a pleasant feel to them, but they do not filter anything. It strains but does not filter the water. There's a big difference between those two words, which is why it only got four out of five stars. So go in knowing that it's a fantastic device for aerating your wines in seconds rather than an hour. The strainer is useful for removing sediment from your wine, but it does not filter or purify anything. Running wine through cheese cloth to remove sediment is the same as using a strainer. Overall, it performs admirably; however, the write-up should be updated so that it does not misrepresent the product.
I'm not sure why it says strainer with filters when it didn't come with any of them. This only serves to aerate the wine, not to filter it.
Decanter! It satisfies all of the characteristics.
Great aerator, makes a huge difference when drinking wine; I don't have half an hour to wait for wine, and this cut the time in half. It also appears to be very nice.
