All of the bottles were shipped intact and are beautifully designed and sturdy. A friend received a homemade whiskey bottle in one of these and it made it to her in one piece, so I can attest to their excellent quality. As it was my first time using shrink capsules, they were a little tricky for me at first, but I eventually got the hang of them. The capsules became smooth after that point. In light of the corks, I am now giving three stars. Most of them held together, I'd say. The capsules fit tightly in the bottle, and if they could handle the pressure of being pulled out without tearing, that wouldn't be such a problem. I didn't notice this happening to all, but it did to around half of them so be sure to test the cork before you put anything in the bottle to prevent ruining what you've worked so hard to create. Overall I think these are good bottles, the only drawback is I'll have to buy corks for quite a few of them as I have to replace many of them, so if you're like me you'll purchase this set too since it includes everything you need for wine. All the items should come in one package so that you don't have to buy them I must emphasize that the bottles are fantastic quality, just expect half of your corks to fail. The overall purchase I made is satisfactory to me.

This was the second time I had ordered them. I was impressed with their appearance and packaging. After I hit reorder today, what I got was not what I ordered yesterday. This group is definitely 2nds because of a weird wonky bulge in the glass of each bottle. In comparison, the last ones seem to have a very clear solid bottom, whereas these have a dimple in the bottom and they are very thin. Furthermore, these do not have the extra clear statement on the invoice of the original order. By pressing reorder, I will not receive the same thing. I intend to return these. Arrived on time, but gave zero stars because the bottles were defective and the product had to be swapped.

In the beginning, it seemed that this was a great product. But after testing the bottles to make sure everything was working, I had my doubts. As seen in the picture of three corks breaking, it happened to me too. It was not rough to open these, they were normally opened. It was unfortunately too late to make these bottles, so I had to make do with what I had. It's just a matter of quality control not being present. These are so fragile, making it hard for you to gift them as a finished product. It would be embarrassing to gift them and have the same thing happen to them.

If you need them for a one time use, then they are a worthwhile purchase. We've had several of the caps come right off the cork the first time the bottle was uncorked, even if they've been used a limited amount of time. Since they break so easily when we remove and redo the corks so regularly, we purchased them to bottle our homemade limoncello. However, they are ultimately not suitable for any sort of use that requires periodic removal and redoing of the corks. So, we had to switch to buying a screw top bottle for our limoncello because the cheap plastic stops wouldn't last.
