I've been using this and similar products for a long time and have never had any problems with them. I can think of three scenarios: The stopper you were given is faulty; 2. You're using it on a champagne bottle that isn't a standard-lipped bottle; or 3. Before pumping the button several times, make sure it's securely closed on both sides of the bottle lip. I tried it on a bottle of champagne last month, and it kept its fizz for a week after I finished it. Several times throughout the week, I had to open and close the champagne bottle. Best wishes to you.
I'm fairly certain it's made in China. It's of good quality and performs admirably. It also works on some wine bottles, though not all, which is a plus.

It only works with bottles that have a long neck; if the neck is too short, it won't work. I'm not familiar with the wines you're referring to, but if you drink wines other than those frequently, this is a good buy.

We immediately popped a few bottles of bubbly after receiving these stoppers. To put them to the test, we used one of each of our champagne stoppers, including this one. br>As of 15 minutes ago (one night before the New Year! ), we opened all of the bottles, and this stopper worked just as well as our favorite champagne preserver at sealing the bottles - which will set you back around $80. All of the others paled in comparison to this one. br>So, yes, if you're going to keep an opened bottle of champagne for a long time and want the best flavor, texture, and natural carbonation possible, GET THIS ONE!.
These bottle sealers will come in handy whether you're a champagne connoisseur or just a casual champagne drinker. I bought mine for my girlfriends' Christmas stocking stuffers and a white elephant party at work because I adore them. My headphones were purchased over a year ago, and they still work as well as they did the first day I used them. When lying the bottle flat down in the fridge, it keeps the champagne bubbly and fresh, with no leakage. To use, simply place the stopper over an open bottle and press down on both sides to create a tight seal. That concludes our discussion.
They're simple and effective. I've got a few bottles of bubbly open at the moment for some tastings, and I hate wasting wine, so these stoppers have kept the wine sparkling for over a week with no sign of pressure weakening yet. When you remove the stopper, be careful because the pressure builds up quickly and they may fly off. The aromas have also held up well, possibly because the CO2 is displacing the air in the bottle, preventing the wine from oxidizing as quickly as it would otherwise. br>br>Highly recommended. I just hope they're durable enough to last (you never know with these kinds of things).
I can't believe it's been so long since I've had something similar in my kitchen. I enjoy sparkling wine but have always been hesitant to open a bottle because it would go flat in the fridge if left open. So, of course, I'd feel obligated to complete it as soon as possible. I didn't require much persuasion in the first place. However, you are aware of this. This aids in preventing this. br>br>For some reason, I had no idea there were such simple wine stoppers available. I gave one to my stepmother and kept the other, and they both work perfectly. They keep the wine fresh and the bubbles in while being as simple to insert as any other wine cork. My friends have only ever used the really fancy automatic wine stoppers for sparkling wine, but these are a breeze. It's not as flashy as some, but it's very useful. I'm sure these can be used for sparkling apple cider and other festive drinks, so they're great to have on hand during the holidays.
The lack of a little white plastic "resealer" cap under the outer foil on the most recent batch of Martinelli's sparkling cider bottles caught me off guard. According to the Martinelli website, this was done to reduce landfill waste. While this is true, keeping the "sparkling" in the cider without that little white plastic cap has become much more difficult. br>br>This product appeared to be promising, as it received positive feedback from champagne drinkers. When using this product with Martinelli bottles, however, there are two issues to consider: (1) The "shoulder" for securing this cap to the bottle appears to be a little lower than a typical champagne bottle, necessitating a - LOT- Allowing the cap's "wings" to engage the bottle's shoulder requires a downward force on the cap. (2) Marinelli bottles have a slanted shoulder. Once you've gotten the cap's wings onto the shoulder, the slope causes the wings to fall off. br>br>While this cap may be ideal for champagne bottles, it is not suitable for my needs. I'm back, and I'm on the lookout for something new.
OMG, this is the best bar accessory I've purchased in a long time; I was tired of my unfinished wine and champagne leaking from my wine rack. We couldn't finish an expensive bottle of champagne we bought for the new year, so it went on the wine rack to be used later. It did indeed leak and cause a shambles. Traditional corks aren't always up to the task. Well, after much research and reviews, I purchased this champagne stopper, and it fits all of my wine and champagne bottles perfectly. Because of this stopper, there is no more leaking, and my wine still tastes great and my Champagne still sparkles. Any champagne or wine drinker should have this bottle. Heck, it worked on the majority of my liquor bottles as well. I'll be purchasing more in the near future.
This is a fantastic set of stoppers! I had no idea how useful something like this could be. We always just used the cork, as do the majority of people. Normally, the wine would turn quickly, resulting in a waste of money. These stoppers are very secure and hold a lot of pressure. That is certainly something to consider when removing this item. It has the ability to launch itself into space like a rocket! It clearly does a great job of sealing the bottle. These are an excellent purchase that will help you save money by keeping your bottled goods fresh for a longer period of time. I, too, am enamored with the hue. I really like how firmly the arms are locked in place. With this one, they completely nailed it. I give it a five-star rating. I'm going to order some more to give to my family and friends. What a fantastic item!.
I had an old stopper from years and years ago that had a little rust on it but was still functional. I bought a new one, which was highly rated and included a pump, about a year ago. GARBAGE. . . didn't seal properly, and the "fizz" was lost. This one caught my eye and I purchased it; it's a tight fit, BLACK, and far more graceful in my opinion, and since my wife and I rarely finish a bottle in one sitting, it's nice to know the fizz will be there tomorrow night. Two is a good number, one for home and one for my travel bag. . . a good investment.
