The top will be pulled more by gravity because it's bigger there, just as if you are really fat, or have huge boobs, gravity will be pulling in that area more. Are you serious? Keep your wits about you. Despite its sturdy build and thick walls, the shaker doesn't leak and won't get cold after you shake it for 21 seconds, one for each year you were prohibited from drinking. Put it in the pot, slake it, and drink it up. This is a good buy.
I tracked down the owner of the company through Google, and it appears the products are made in China, even though it doesn't say so on the product.

The results are great! I chill it first with ice water, then dump it, add two ice cubes and quickly shake a shot of high quality tequila (that I do not want diluted, as I want it to taste pure) and it works perfect! really like how I can shake, pour directly from it, or use it as a cup on the go if I replace the top with the lid (included). The pint size is perfect for mixing drinks, drinking coffee, or making a shake after power gym time. It keeps my drinks hot or cold when I make them, and the ice continues to stay intact after 24 hours! I love the stainless design and it gets better with use. Any other product is not as good as Brumate!.
Despite the fact that it's very well made and doesn't leak, it's very durable. As I read some reviews, I thought it was just a lid and cup, but I didn't realize it was the full set. You have to get used to it if you're used to using a standard cobbler or boston shaker. It makes a very quiet, muted shake noise, and you can't even feel the cold at all, so you become numb to it almost immediately. There isn't enough room for two cocktails to be made at the same time in that mug, but I don't mind that. This is great! I'm very happy! You could give it as a gift to someone you know.
This shaker also comes with a lid that allows you to pour. I bought a few for other cocktail drinkers in my social circle.
