Both sets arrived damaged so something must have gone wrong in the manufacturing process. The finish was spotty and had some sort of impurity in it that ruined the finish. I have ordered two sets and both came damaged. Sadly, the second one I ordered to replace the first had the same issue, but the smaller cup had two scratches as well. It is the only part of the second one that I ripped open prior to putting it back in the box with disgust. They would be a beautiful set if I can get one with a proper finish and no damage to it. The quality checks need to be tightened up, these shouldn't have passed. The rest of it. . . well, they have a nice weight and feel nice, but with the messed up finish. . . they just look bad.
