I used them for the first time this weekend and am glad I bought three. They are on the smaller side, but made for easy dividing. It didn't leak, but it took awhile for the ice to melt (they were in the shade, it was evening, but it was still June in Tennessee). It might be a good idea to give them as Christmas gifts to my husband's co-workers and fill them with gifts. I'm so glad I have them. They are much better than the ones I used to have at Walmart for a similar price.

LEAK IF THEY ARE NOT WASHABLE

In the middle of my sister's shower, which was planned for next Monday, I purchased these to keep champagne cold, but not long after they were delivered they starting leaking. We had a chaotic time, and I had to keep towels on the table to prevent water from running all over the place. The bowls are a bit prettily crafted and look rustic, so I figured I'd love to use them in the future. However, I am not sure if I can even use them with ice or water Considering that they leaked so easily, I do not understand the term "leak proof. ". a very disappointing experience.
