There is a nice packaging on it and this would make a nice gift (if I didn't get it for myself)! A second thing I noticed when I opened my box was the weight and the quality You won't feel cheap with this one, like you might with a lower quality corkscrew. The ease of use was almost overwhelming after I used it on a bottle of wine. The device has 3 handles on the sides, and you grasp the wine bottle with two of them. In order to force the corkscrew into the wine cork, you must raise the third handle. When the corkscrew is inserted into the cork, you push down on the third handle and it is removed from the cork. Even though it was a bit tricky, I was able to get the cork off the screw with a little patience. Metal construction is used in this product, and the unit comes in a gift box that is suitable for giving.

My experience has been similar to that of many other reviewers of the newer screwpull models. The first screwpull I used lasted for a decade and only needed replacing because the plastic lining around the corkscrew widget began to wear In the two or three screwpulls I have purchased to replace it, each has lasted about 2 years. One of the cheap cast metal parts ripped off after 5 years of service. In light of the above, I was initially hesitant to purchase this item since it looks a lot like it was knocked off the cheap, poorly fitted screwpull model. I keep these offs that I have received as gifts over the years but only use them in emergencies because they are so badly designed. Although my product is performing better than expected after 3 weeks, I am happy to report that it is performing better than With a half price difference from the "original" screwpull This is my first purchase, and I am quite pleased with it.

We open a lot of wine I have bought at least three rabbit wine openers over the years, and so far I have been very happy with them. Various ways have been used to break previous openers.
