Although I am not sure what the warranty is, I believe this opener to be very sturdy and will last a long time.
It works fine for all of them. I bought six of them for family members.
Although I haven't tried the Brookstone opener, the one we have now seems to last longer than any previous opener.

I have tried dozens of openers and this is by far the best. Moreover, the foil cutter included in the package actually cuts foil well- What a wonderful thing that would be! In the past, every foil cutter I have had was useless- You can't go wrong with this one. This will be a great help to you.
This is the same opener I had from Brookstone purchased from Amazon (no longer available). That's the same opener as the previous one. A gear mechanism on the previous one went bad after having lasted more than a year and a half, which is longer than any rabbit or electric opener I've owned. I am very impressed with the quality of this opener. There is no jerk in the action. I intend to keep this new one for at least another year or two.
With the price of 30 bucks, it appears to be a comparable or even better product than others (such as the Rabbit, which has lots of cheap It is however a bit misleading to call a container "stainless steel". According to what I can make out, it appears to be polished chrome A base metal that is plated. You can see this, for instance, in the uneven finish on the threads on the top cap of the screw that needs to be replaced. There is more weight to this than a plastic Rabbit, and I think it is more durable, but it is as good a quality as you would expect for this price. It comes in a nice presentation box, the kind you feel bad tossing but never use. In my opinion, it would be better to store this item loose in a drawer or on a shelf than trying to conserve.
It is easy to insert the screw However, it is very easy to remove as well, the cork can be lifted by a couple of hundredths of an inch. 25" in length. It was a second chance that got me to remove the cork on a previous occasion. It wasn't even possible to try 4 times this time. This is a real rip-off. This product is dangerous. Run away from it. Neither the foil cutter nor the knife is very effective. Upon arrival, the product was broken It was exactly like that upon lid opening), but I didn't consider it major enough to report it at the time. I hope the seller stands behind their products and will provide If customer service responds to my message, I will edit this post.
Update It was a pleasure to deal with the seller, who offered a very satisfactory solution on July 10, 2019. In the event that the resolution is resolved, I will revise the rating. I have updated I was notified in the mail of a replacement corkscrew as soon as the mail was sent. It's now up to us to figure out We'll let you know when we hear As a result of the so far exemplary customer service, I am raising the rating to 2 stars.
My favorite part of the opener is the introduction. The program is extremely easy to use and well worth the price. I like the design as well as the ease of As opposed to many others, one does not have to exert as much force to open a bottle.
The product I purchase was to replace the one I bought probably ten years ago. Contrary to most manufacturing trends, this product appears to be even more functional and efficient. In comparison with the first one, this one is better constructed. Although I am fully aware that an opener such as this lacks the romance of an old-fashioned box opener (my fault entirely), you can see why I am not in favor of this one. The old-fashioned key is indeed more classy than either an electric or an air-conditioned one, but it may be true that the electric or the air-conditioned key is more efficient (although these are quite handy as an alternative to an ah-pump Corks older than 35 years can still be stored in the cellar). As for the actual device, it is durable, elegant, and quite simple to operate once you are used to When the foil is removed, you can have an open bottle with a cork in two minutes after the foil is removed. It takes a third of a second. Who, in their right mind, would want to wait longer than they have to for a glass of wine?.
An opener I have previously used is another well known brand name. Obviously, I bought this one because the one I had broke three times and was unable to be fixed. The handle of this handle is located over the neck of the bottle, making it easier to grip than the other handle that is perpendicular to the neck of the bottle. had hoped that would make the extraction process easier, and it does in some ways, but the extraction is not very smooth, and it's sometimes difficult to get it to pull the cork out. As the handle is lifted, the cork needs to be squeezed in order to pull out properly, but if the cutouts do not perfectly match the bottle neck (bottles are not the same) then it can be a bit fidgety to open the be able to make a small insert to prevent the issue from occurring due to bottle geometry changes. Although it is incredibly solid, I feel like there is something that needs to be greased. I will state my thoughts as they are, straight from the box.
Basically, I work in a busy commercial wine hall and was given this wine bottle opener to try and see if it works. What a great thing to see! The bottle opener is easy to use, comes in a classy finish, and has a very durable construction. I have probably opened 75 bottles, and the opener works just as well as the first. Style and strength rolled into one. Don't miss out on this! It makes sense to me!.
