I'm not sure what other products you're using as a comparison. This one has a metal top and is made of glass. It's of a high standard. It will last indefinitely unless it is dropped and broken. After washing, simply dry the metal top by hand. The toothpick is smooth and easy to remove. This purchase has made me extremely happy.
This jar would probably hold an average box of toothpicks. Maybe 75 or 100 people? I bought it a long time ago and have no idea what it's worth.

Grammy liked this little gift for Christmas as well! She was looking for something similar to mine, so I looked around and came across this. It's simple to dispense the toothpicks without touching them and exposing them to other people's germs. Do people actually read toothpick holder reviews? Just in case, I'll leave my review here to say that this little one is a treasure, and Grammy approves!.
It has three holes in the top that are spaced far enough apart to ensure that only the toothpick chosen is touched. Only one toothpick is dispensed per hole, and the others fall back into the holder when the holder is turned back upright. It's easy to hold onto thanks to the ribbed sides. br>br>It's light but sturdy, and I like that I can remove the top and put both pieces in the dishwasher utensil basket. It's a lot nicer than the plastic dispenser it's supposed to replace. br>br>I like that it comes with toothpicks in a cellophane bag, which will be useful for cleaning and gluing projects. br>br>For kitchen use, I've loaded it with the linked round toothpicks, which are UV treated and food safe and made of white birch. They are durable and will not splinter:

This was purchased to replace a flimsy plastic toothpick dispenser that we had previously used. It's all glass and steel on this one! It's wonderful, and my wife adores it. Because the toothpick holes are small, it won't work with very thick toothpicks, but it will work fine with Diamond brand round toothpicks (but not flat toothpicks). I hope this has been of assistance.
This handy little dispenser works well and looks nice next to my basket of napkins on top of my microwave - Rather than one of those small plastic dispensers, this is much nicer. Instead of constantly digging through a drawer for my pathetic little cardboard box of toothpicks, I wish I had thought to buy one of these years ago. This is something I would highly recommend!.
It's sturdy, can be washed to look brand new again, and doesn't get the old, worn, cloudy look of my old plastic dispenser because it's made of glass rather than plastic. It works exactly as I expected, dispensing only one toothpick at a time, preventing all other toothpicks from being "groped" in the process. Another great advantage is that even if the container falls over, it is unlikely to spill a single toothpick because it requires a good shake to dispense one (unlike my old, cracked plastic dispenser). Over the years, I've cleaned up and discarded a lot of toothpicks that had spilled in the cabinet or on the counter. It is 3. 25 inches long and comes with a starter pack of round toothpicks. 3 small toothpicks adorn this 5" tall figure. screw-in openings of various sizes tight lid (as shown in the photo attached). I'm not sure if flat toothpicks would dispense easily, if at all, so I'm guessing round toothpicks will suffice when it's time for a refill. I have no doubt that this was a wise decision that was well worth the money.
I'm on a low-sodium diet, but I don't care for the commercial plastic bottles of non-sodium foods. On my counter or dining table, I keep salt seasonings (such as Mrs Dash Table Blend). Regular salt shakers, on the other hand, clog up when I use them because of their small holes. So I bought this toothpick dispenser, and it's fantastic. I could use it for some of the other blends that have larger pieces of herbs in them if the holes were even bigger. That's a five-star rating.
I love how it makes my kitchen and dinner table feel like a restaurant. Too many times I've accidentally knocked the box of toothpicks out of the cupboard and wasted time collecting them all, but thanks to this holder, that's no longer an issue!.
I ordered three of these, but only one of them arrived. The toothpicks were extremely thin, and the dispenser's holes were extremely small. It's difficult to get all of the toothpicks out. br>br>I attempted to contact the seller but received no response.
