Despite its good quality and durability, not cleaning it can be very difficult due to the ridge direction. As those ridges are all in one direction, I was able to clean in between them with a toothbrush when I owned an oxo mat in the past. Due to the zigzags that these ridges make, it's difficult to get into each of a After a year of use, it held up well, but I'll be purchasing an Oxo one next time.
Long, wide and dishwasher-safe, this dish towel is durable and easy to clean. The only complaint I have is that I cannot find an alternative. It is not compensation that is being offered to me As much as possible, I give honest and open feedback about products I attempt. In my kitchen, I keep an air fryer on the counter, and when I am ready to use it, I pull it out a little more to have at least six containers in it At the back of the fryer there is an air vent which can get very hot. There is seven inches between the back wall and the vent. As much as I love my granite counter, my backsplash is made of tiles, and I worry that over time, the glue or something that holds the tiles in place might melt from the heat and the tiles would fall off the wall. It is hoped that this large silicone mat will help to prevent this It is a heat-producing substance The thermos will withstand temperatures up to 450°F. In fact, after washing and drying the first time, I haven't had to clean it except wipe it with a damp paper towel. I hang it on the back of the air fryer now.
Our white Quartz countertops were exactly what we needed for protection. There were a number of things we needed to accomplish. To protect the counter top from chips and scratches when using heavy pots and pans, we used a bench top protector. Using pots and pans on the countertop might cause the countertop to heat up. And it had to be easy to clean as well. Honestly, when we are done picking it up, putting it in the sink, and spraying it off, that's all we have to do.
Besides being handy as a hot pad when cooking, I really enjoy using it for that purpose as well The trivet's surface area is larger than a typical trivet, so you can place multiple items on it at once. The bowl is easy to clean, dry, and store away when not in use. Of course, I don't have to keep it on my counter all the time! It is being used as a tray under my small succulents to catch some of the excess water that normally drips all over my countertop.
As a drying mat, I originally bought this but was disappointed that it was not large enough to replace one that I already have in my house. After being disappointed in that, I decided to keep my dog's dishes off of the floor and off the floor in my cabinet. Besides protecting my cabinets from water and germs, it's just the right size for two dog bowls. But they can be really pricey. I'd really like to have a size bigger. There is no better way to clean this than to use a sponge. It looks nice, is easy to clean, and is a good thickness. I deducted a star for.
really like this mat, but the ridges are so small that it is hard to clean well and particles tend to get caught up in them. It takes me a while to dry it after rinsing it under water. The OXO mat is MUCH better because it is thicker and has wide ridges on both sides, allowing it to be easily cleaned. The mat does not come in a large size. I will try to find one with a wider ridge.
The containers are much smaller than I anticipated. I also noticed that the water seems to sit on the surfaces for some time In general, I still need to use a towel to dry the dishes after they have been sitting on the mat for a day or two. am also concerned that mine are leaking a little on the bottom - It seems like the counter surface and bottom of the mat are always wet after I flip them over to get rid of excess water.
