br>I went with the 2XL size. This is a large, stiff shirt, and on my "apple" shape, well, let's just say I looked 20 pounds heavier and dipped in Peptobismol (this shade of pink is NOT figure flattering). Unless you have a pear or hourglass figure, stay away!.
Arrived on time as promised. The material and overall appearance were fine, but I ordered a women's medium, which was enormous and very wide, not at all like the somewhat fitted picture. It had to be an inadvertent delivery of a male medium.
The coat material attracts a lot of lint; despite the fact that my dryer is only 6 months old, none of my clothes come out lint-free. While working, it gathers lint! I don't think it's a good idea.
It is a perfect match. I was relieved to find a coat that fit my figure and didn't resemble a large box.
The quality of the coat can be seen in its weight and fabric, while the knot button gives it a more traditional look and feel. I decided to wash it rather than dry clean it, and it came out as white as the day I bought it after a few suds and a spot of bleach. I'm going to buy at least two more so that I can rotate them.
And, as mentioned in another comment, it is not necessary to use the buttons.
It's lovely.
The tie at the back is a disaster! When you wear an apron, it makes your back scrunch up and feel uncomfortable. I'm not sure I'll ever wear this.
