The coat already has buttons on it.
I wouldn't base my decision on the size chart. I usually wear an XL or a size 14 shirt, and that's exactly what I got when I ordered an XL. The size chart is small in comparison to the actual product.
Go with the xxl. I ordered an xl and it didn't fit very well. I returned it because I didn't like the material. Good luck

This brand of coat is my absolute favorite. It's not too heavy. It is colorfast and well-fitting. I have two more, and I recently purchased two more. So far, this is my personal favorite. They look brand new despite the fact that I wash them on a regular basis. The fabric is wrinkle-resistant. Fits well because it is light (kitchens are hot). The measurements are correct. It won't leave a stain on your clothes. Grease stains, too, come out easily. Any professional would benefit from this line of coats. Sherri, the chef de cuisine.
This is an excellent coat. I believe it is both light and strong. I haven't had the opportunity to wash it yet, so I can't speak to that. The shape is more flattering than most, but the sleeves are positioned in an uncomfortably high position. When I cuff them up a little more, they're even better.
Guys, I made a Chef's Coat! OMG, I looked so professional at work when I wore this! In this coat, my crew thought I looked quite dapper. During service, I was not overheated in this Chef Coat, and I absolutely adore how I look in it. Such a lovely, well-kept home. Guys, I made a Chef's Coat!.
These shirts are three of my favorites. It's great to have well-made washes. It's very relaxing. The shirt pocket could use some division, so it only gets four stars. Because the sleeve pocket only has two divisions, I had to sew an extra button on the inside to close the top. But that is just my opinion.
I'll be buying a lot more of these! It's also very light and breathable, and it washed up nicely in my washing machine with no color bleeding. The only thing I would recommend is wearing a matching undershirt because there are slits on the side that go up a little but allow for plenty of movement, so I'm not disappointed.
This coat was not designed to fit the figure of a woman. It was boxy in the same way that any other unisex chef coat would be. A Medium to Large is my usual size. I purchased a Large and found it to be too big in the middle and too tight in the hips. It's a stiff fabric that wasn't well made. I wish I had been warned as a buyer. Also, there's something seriously wrong with Amazon's size chart; it says a women's XL is a size 8, and it doesn't go any larger; what country was this made for, when the average woman in the United States is a size 12?.
Because I was tired of wearing white coats to work, I purchased this coat. When I first received it, I tried it on and immediately ordered two more. At work, I received numerous compliments, and the material is also excellent! I finally fell in love with it, and now my coworkers are placing orders for them.
This coat's appearance and quality impressed me greatly. I ordered a size up from my usual to ensure that it would be comfortable to work in and that there would be adequate air circulation. To accommodate my work week, I'll order more.
