It won't work because it'll be too small. A larger teapot warmer, which resembles a toaster cover, is also available. It's something I have as well. However, I'm not sure if it will work, but it's worth a shot. I have both of them.

It has a tapered shape to it. The two halves are joined at the top by an elastic ring. Even though the two sides leave a gap for the spout and handle, it closes tightly at the top. This one is perfect for my big, round teapot. It also keeps the tea hot and warm for a longer period of time.

It comes with a built-in coaster, which is a feature I've never seen before, so I'm not constantly looking for something to place under my teapot to protect my table. The small elastic closer band is both simple and useful. This is a brilliant concept. It also keeps my tea hot for hours; none of my teapot spouts drip, but if they did, the water would drip inside the cozy, not on the outside.
This is very cute, and it works well with my small glass teapot. Although it is thickly padded, the tea does not stay warm for long. It's a good shield for my fragile pot. br>Recent changes: So I had to wash a spoon that had spaghetti sauce on it that my daughter rested against the cozy. I figured it wouldn't be a problem because it said machine washable right on the package. After just one wash, it has faded to the point of being unwearable, and it has shrunk. I'm extremely dissatisfied with this outcome.
My 45-ounce FORLIFE teapot (also available on Amazon) fits perfectly, as does my much smaller 4-cup teapot. The cosy is well-made, with a thick layer of insulation and a Solid Wood Base that can be easily removed for cleaning. With my red teapot sitting on the counter, it looks fantastic. Unlike the other hat-style covers, which are obnoxiously large and clunky in appearance. Would make a great gift for yourself or any tea lover!.
I like this item so much that I'm ordering a second one with a different print from the vendor. It's comfortable to wear, keeps the tea warm, and looks nice.
The cosy is extremely well made. This one is taking the place of the one I had for 30 years. The new base isn't quilted like the old one, but it's still of high quality.
Even though it engulfs the pot as it is clearly meant for something larger like my 6 cup pot, I have (mis)used this item for even tiny 2 cup pots and it still works great. This item was designed for tea pots with handles on the side; however, all of mine have handles on the top, and they all work perfectly with this cozy. It really keeps the tea warm for a long time, so I don't have to worry about it getting cold while I'm brewing it.
The tea cozy's (muff) construction is appealing to me. It fits my various teapot sizes and keeps the tea at the proper temperature.
