Selected User Reviews For Spode Blue Italian Tea Cosy
I was taken aback by the size of this when I first received it. It's a little too big for my formal teapot, but it's perfect for my Bella Tea Kettle. Including everything. This cozy looks like it was made to go over a Spode Blue Italian teapot. To me, it appears to be larger. I'm sure I'll be able to use this on my smaller formal teapot and keep my tea warm- It's just that it appears to be quite substantial. Go ahead and do it if you don't mind the appearance. It shrank a little after being washed and dried, but it looks better/rounder and more fitted now. br>I have to admit that a few months ago, I had a terrible headache that wouldn't go away, so after using this to keep my kettle warm, I wore it as a hat! My headache vanished as a result of the warmth, and the cozy was a perfect fit! My friend was on the verge of passing out from laughing at me!.
But I really want it to be round! This has an envelope shape to it. Most mass-produced tea cozies appear to be like this, with only the crocheted or knitted ones fitting snugly. It looks like a hat that covers the whole teapot. The disadvantage is that the heat trapped inside the cozy heats up the pot's handle, making it so hot that one can barely hold on to pour a cup of tea. As a result, I docked a star. br>br>There appears to be a scarcity of the snug-fitting pants. These days, it's fashionable to wear knitted cozies. My wife can knit and is quite good at it, but she simply does not have the time to do so. But I'm not finished with her yet. This is a good cozy if you don't want to be surrounded by granny's flowers. Some men, too, enjoy a cup of tea.
It was well-packaged and arrived in good shape. It does exactly what it says. Thank you very much!.
I go out of my way to find [only] heavy cozies. (Needed in a room with a low temperature. ) ) I think this is a good one. It is actually larger than several I have, and it is as attractive as it appears on the internet.
It matches the Spode pattern, but it's not widely used; it's a British concept, but I'm glad I'll be able to use it at a tea party. Instead, put your money toward spoons.
Suitable for covering a large teapot. I have an old Spode Blue Italian tea cosy that has seen better days. from a time when Europe was a different place This new model is even more padded and appears to be constructed from high-quality materials. Washable. Allow to dry flat. My Amazon purchase has been a great success. com. originating from an English seller.
It's lovely, thick, and supremely luxurious. It appeals to me.
