According to a professional linen supplier, an 8 foot banquet table may measure up to 96" x 30" (29" high) if your table measures that size. In order to completely cover the area where the table cloth touches the floor, choose a tablecloth 90" x 156". The 60" x 120" size works well if you want it to go halfway down the wall. Additionally, I was told that if you have chairs around the table, you should allow the table cloth to touch the floor.

If you were to buy one of those, it would fit an oval table that size. The only thing I would note (or potentially recommend) is Initially, that may cause the items to require a bit more ironing time to make sure there are no creases/wrinkles between the rectangular packaging and clothing, but nothing too time-consuming.

During my most recent winery visit, I purchased 21 tablecloths for our adjacent patio area and winery. When I opened the tablecloths, I started washing and drying them when they were delivered on time. Neither the tablecloths nor the leaves had any staining or marks. The size of these towels required me to wash them at the same time but dry them separately. The pros are A few threads needed to be trimmed around the hems, but they are nicely hemmed. The cloths have a true white color, and they do not cast a bluish color on the table, even in a light breeze. Their weight means they won't slip on the table, even when used outside. They were easy to clean after use. It was possible to remove wine and food stains following treatment. The cons are When you remove the tablecloths from the dryer, they do not come out wrinkle-free No charge. The wrinkles on the cloth were random and not covering the whole As much as I dislike ironing, I feel that once the clothes are already on the tables, covered in dinnerware, with chairs all around, the wrinkles won't be noticed.
I was surprised at the quality of the fabric for the price I paid. It seemed heavier and not as light as I thought it would be, and draped nicely on both long sides of an 8 ft It looks great when the tables are pushed together, although the ends of the table are a bit longer than I'd like them to be. As a result, everything turned out very nice and I am very pleased with my purchase.
The table descriptions would be more helpful if ALL the table dimensions were included.
purchased this particular table cloth as it was shown in the advertisement to have a slight ruffle instead of being flat and I wanted to make the area look more formal. On the other hand, the side is flat and the stitching is terrible. There are a few places where the thread is bird nested and the lines don't appear straight. My only reason for giving it two stars vs. one is that it was so cheap I have to ask, "What could I expect for the price?" I do not recommend this product in any way.
My shirt was very creased so I just sprayed a wrinkle spray on it and threw it in the dryer and that worked fine. Ironing is one of the things I avoid in life at all costs. The only problem is that I ordered a larger size than I needed, so it looked a little baggy on my table, but no one noticed and it worked perfect! You're very welcome! A short time after we ordered it, this tablecloth was delivered to us. Our eyes were drawn to the sheer white tablecloth in the package, which had a bigger and more open weave. I liked the dimensions for a longer table, and it laid well on top of it. It did not hide the color of the wood table underneath as much as we would have liked due to the fact that the fabric was somewhat see-through. We feel this tablecloth would be best suited for banquet tables for an event (as food or table service would cover most of it). It was a little shiny, but for the brief time the trade show was open it was perfect. It was large enough to hide things underneath the tables and we put them on a standard 8' table.
Our dinner party was going to be large so we purchased this linen to cover the table. was exactly what the description said it would be. I was a bit speculative before purchasing, so my wife was as well. I ordered a second tablecloth for a backup. When it arrived and we placed it on our table, which was 60" x 134" with leaves and additions, I was very happy with the quality and how well-fitted it looked. I will order another one in the future. The cloth that I recommend is large and suitable for use on tables up to approximately 80 inches square.
