Yes! These silicone pads are a "favorite" of mine. It comes in handy for hot items straight from the oven or stovetop, in my opinion. Especially for those who are new to the kitchen.
I don't think you'll have any issues as long as your oven is set to 446°F or less.
Maybe. It never occurred to me.
They're of a good size.

This is fantastic- The round form appeals to me. it's the right size, but not too big When I wrap it around the cast iron skillet's handle to lift it, there are no sharp edges. It can also be used as a trivet. Because I don't have a dishwasher, I rinsed the dishes thoroughly with water when they became particularly dirty. Place it in a lingerie bag and wash it. It's likely that soaking and washing the dishes together would have sufficed.
I had a waffle pot holder that I had been using for a long time. It can withstand high temperatures and, as I've discovered, is also useful for opening jars. So I needed a few more for kitchen convenience. These are every bit as good as the first. They keep my hand safe when I'm working with hot objects and are also useful for opening jars.
These trivets can be used in a variety of situations. I use them as a portable placemat when I take a hot bowl to my desk to work or to the family room to watch the news, and I use them to retrieve hot items from the microwave. They come in handy for opening jars and bottles. I like how I can swish them under running water and they come back to life after a spill or drip. On the wooden table, I use them as trivets beneath a hot serving bowl. I also use them to reach for a hot pan or lid. I've been using these in place of various fabric hot pads and haven't looked back.
I would not recommend these, and I would not order any with a honeycomb pattern. br>They are easy to get dirty because they trap liquids and crumbs, and when you put them in the dishwasher, they trap a lot of water and do not dry out. You'll need to wring out the water by hand and hang it to dry again. br>It's a real pain. Look for silicon hotpads that do not have a honeycomb pattern.
These are difficult to clean, take a long time to dry due to the honeycomb pattern's ability to hold water, and do not protect against heat as well as the ones I purchased at Ikea. I'll buy more the next time I go to Ikea. They're also less expensive. These will be donated to a Goodwill location.
I bought it for a purpose other than what it was designed for. Because the steps have settled several inches and it can be difficult to get up such a large step without assistance, I had to install a grab bar near my front entry. Hang the potholder from the grab bar to ensure a secure grip in the sun or rain. The remaining pads are working in the kitchen as usual. Very well-made and cost-effective.
Compared to cloth hot pads, they are thicker and more rigid. They were bought to hold up to emptying and refilling a cast iron smoking chip container from the smoker that sits right on the heating element, so they're not as easy to use. Those high temperatures were too much for cloth to withstand. These have the following characteristics:.
Ok. I'm not usually one to write reviews, but I felt compelled to do so for this product, which is made of silicone and makes it a little difficult to get a good grip on things when taking them out of the oven. Worst of all, they offer very little heat protection from whatever you're grabbing. In conclusion, if you enjoy burned fingers, this product is a must-have. I was not compensated for this review.
