With a pair of rubber oven gloves, I severely burned myself. My glove was too big for my hand, and my hand was too flapping. The burn was pretty bad. I looked for a long time before I found these and fell in love with their pattern. I chose the sheep ones, but I adored them all! They were a perfect fit for me. I just took dinner out of the oven with them. I feel SAFE, which is something I never considered before I was burned, because the sheep have stuff on them to keep the pans from slipping out of my grip. These gloves are fantastic for people like me who have small hands. Also, the thickness of these is just right for me. I don't want it to be too thin or too thick that I can't control it. Allow me to do the legwork for you— these are fantastic!.
They're not very long-lasting. They won't refund you because they haven't even been in business for a month. It was a waste of money!.
The kitties are a cute design and fit well as gloves, but the kitties make them slick when picking up a hot pyrex type dish. I nearly dropped a dish while unloading the microwave, but I was able to push it back in and use a different pot holder. I had the same problem with removing a glass pie plate from the oven. I'm not going to use them in the future.
These mitts didn't seem to be as heat resistant as others. When I first pick up a pan, I don't notice the heat, but if I hold it for a few seconds to make room to set it down, I can feel it creep in slowly at first, then quickly. br>br>The little Fox decals are cute, but they stick to the pans a little. No, I'm not referring to the fact that they're grippy. I mean, I've had to peel them off on the verge of removing them. But it's not as bad as it sounds. br>br>Overall, I like them, but they aren't particularly attractive mitts.
It could just be a personal preference, but despite their cuteness and convenient placement in my kitchen, I don't find myself reaching for these. The graphic feels like a gleaming plastic sticker on a relatively thin potholder, and while I'm sure it's heat resistant and fully attached and everything, it just felt strange when I grabbed a hot sheetpan with them. Maybe I just need to put them to more use and break them in? IDK.
They do the job, they're cute, and the cats on them aren't just a print; they also have anti-static properties. To ensure that you don't lose your belongings, apply a slip coating on top of them. I'd suggest it. Despite some earlier reviews, you do receive two mitts.
That's way too much heat for a folded dish towel to handle. br>br>Not only are they adorable, but they're also extremely heat resistant - even at 400 degrees Fahrenheit br>br>The mitts are non-slip due to a silicone pattern. slip - ensuring that I have a firm grip on whatever I'm picking up. br>br>I would highly recommend these and will be purchasing more to give as gifts. For the money, it's a great deal.
I was disappointed in these pot holders because the description stated that they were made of silicone, but it failed to mention that the silicone was only used in the design. There's also a seam at the top that divides the fingers into two groups of two. It's completely pointless and, at times, distracting. These gains would never be purchased by me. They're suitable for elderly people. time pot holders, but they don't come close to providing the same level of protection as all-in-one pot holders. This is what silicone pot holders are for.
