There is a need to improve quality control at Elrene Home Fashions. There are two of the same item, and both of them have the same issue. Both tablecloths had several knots and runs sticking out of them. The tablecloth I was using had eight defective places. In the case of the other one, I did not count any defects since there are so many. There are pictures on my website. In one of the pictures, a tape was placed next to the defective part.
It was a nice touch to add these placemats to our table. It took me that long to follow their directions on how to wash them. The first time you get them, they feel great and are a good thickness. You might think there is a better way to wash them that would not make them wrinkle like this, but I followed the directions on the tag and this is how they all turned out after washing. You would likely be able to make them look nice again if you ironed the wrinkles out. If not, maybe you're into that and could do it.
I am very particular about the fabric of the cloth napkins I use. From Amazon, I purchased the black and white and blue and white sets. It's a really nice medium-sized one It is a heavyweight cotton fabric. is done in a very precise and even manner. The color on the front and back of the yarn is the same. It comes in a nice large size for you to sit in. There are approximately 2 inches between the checks. The garment was machine washed on a warm setting and tumble dried on a warm setting It did not shrink or become out of square during the hot weather. When they come out of the dryer, they are unwrinkled except for some corners which I noticed when I was near the dryer. Like most cotton fabrics, I imagine they would become wrinkled if they were dried in a dryer or in a clothes basket. It is a brand I would buy.
And at first it looked like it would be an excellent product. However, when I put a vinyl decal on the front, I noticed that the pocket on the front is totally distorted. There are about two inches of width to the right and the direction of the writing is not straight. My goal was to give this as a Christmas gift to someone, so if I had not been so in a hurry to return it, I would have done so. There needs to be some changes in the manufacturing process.
