The quality of this board is excellent, but not suitable for 1/8" art boards

They are beautifully made and a great price, however I am not able to use them for what I need, since the notch size is smaller than I need an easel. I have some art boards I was hoping I could use in place It is stated on both the top notch of the stand and on one of the small paintings that they are 1/8" but it does not.
