The recipients of my presents were certainly intrigued when I gave them a few of these for Christmas. It was remarked by one person that it would be a great Halloween piece, which is true, and they had not pondered this until they heard it from her. While the chain on the end is moving, the rest is fixed in place, giving the chain a nice effect. It is expected that the chain will not stand straight up unless there is a bottle in the holder, which makes sense because the chain is designed to stand when it has the bottle to distribute weight evenly. I think this idea would make an unusual gift, and I think it's out of the box thinking when it comes to giving.

The chain appears to be a continuous flow in the picture. There was a 45 degree angle where the chain ascended from the base in mine, which gave the illusion that it was on a stand. I played around with it a bit as it is somewhat malleable, except that you cannot open the link at the 45 degree angle It is also welded, so the angle does not bend on its own. This was a gift that my wife bought for me. Our next step was to buy more of them for In theory, the chain should bend and drop the bottle. However, it appears to be welded (? As of yet, we have not tested it with anything larger than a standard 3/4 liter wine bottle, so I can't tell for certain if it can hold something larger The chrome has not yet been worn in a lot of times, so I'm not sure how durable it will be It will be the same as the finish.

I read a lot of reviews before purchasing, and almost didn't pull the trigger, but I am so glad I did. Everything works flawlessly, and it is extremely cool to look at! It's true that without a bottle in it, this cannot stand on its own, but that is not what it was designed for! The product is designed so that its center of gravity balances out when there's a bottle inside is super cheap as well! This is a great book!.

It was cool to see this thing. The bottle didn't stand on its own, but worked perfectly after being fitted with a screw cap. Once you set it up and can admire it, you are able to get over it. The finish looks a little cheap, but you can get over it once you have it up there. The kind of thing you don't see every day, & Despite its low cost, it was quite satisfactory. Buying it again would be a good idea for me.
