The garlic and onions are most definitely going into these, and maybe a small amount of potatoes as well. In some cases, you must find the one that pulls out easier. Bags lift out via nubs, but sometimes it is necessary to find the easiest to pull. It's no problem at all. I struggled at first with the bag netting because it is quite thin and, as I mentioned earlier, I have fat fingers. However, I got the hang of it pretty quickly, and by the third or fourth bag, I was done. The sheerness of the storage net wasn't something I would want in a storage bag, but otherwise they held up very well. How do you clean and how long will it last?
