This is my second Thermos travel mug, with a capacity of 16 ounces. The first thermos (Red) is 7 years old and still works fine, though the cosmetics paint has chipped, dented, and the open and close lettering on the top has worn away. I use my 7-year-old thermos 16-ounce mug every day and toss it around in my bag because it still seals well. I chose the sliver travel mug in the hopes that the paint would last longer. Taking everything apart, including the rubber seals, to clean the lid is a bit of a pain. To avoid mold and old coffee residue from ruining the flavor of freshly brewed coffee, I recommend thoroughly cleaning the lid. There will still be room in the mug for cream and sugar if you use two Kcups with each set to 8 ounces. You can still tighten the lid if the coffee isn't overflowing, or you can leave it open. Despite the fact that it is below freezing outside, the coffee stays hot.
One of these tumblers has been in my possession for a few years. It's incredible how long it can keep your coffee hot (6 hours). 7 hours). So when I saw a two-pack for the price of one, I had no choice but to buy it.
I used it at work, and it really kept my hot beverages hot and warm for a long time, which is what I mostly use it for. I couldn't open the item to clean it or insert a new beverage because the stainless steel and plastic parts of the top where you drink from had separated. So I threw it away and went out and bought one for myself and my wife. I only went without it for one day. Amazon's delivery time is fantastic. It is sometimes possible to receive an item the next day, which is fantastic. br>In any case, I adore the Thermos brand and will always carry one with me, particularly where I work.
I'm not convinced! It appears that the blue cup I was sent has been used and that the seal has been broken. I'm not a fan.
When the lid is on and closed, the coffee stays hot, but drinking it from the small opening is difficult. It is necessary to disassemble the lid in order to thoroughly clean it. For my wife, we purchased a different brand, which is far superior, despite the higher cost.
Thermos is the most effective insulator. The shape makes it easy to hold and drink from. Every day, for more than three hours, my coffee stays hot and tastes fresh. Thermos, on the other hand, used a slide lid that was simple to use and maintain. This new version's bulky top seals in the contents, but it's difficult to clean and will retain water. The water can be heard if you shake it.
I was surprised that the morning hot herbal tea I poured in my thermos at 8 a. m. was still hot at 2 p. m. and didn't require reheating! It's also waterproof! The two disadvantages are that it holds much less liquid than it appears. You'd think 20 ounces would fit, but it doesn't even come close. It's also inconvenient for me to have to disassemble it to clean it. These two issues, however, are minor. It's well worth the money, and I'm glad I bought it!.
THESE DO NOT LEAK IF YOU ASSEMBLY THEM PROPERLY. I'm confident enough to put one in a bag. I'd say that the insulation for hot beverages is adequate, and that cold items stay cold for an extended period of time. If I forget about it, the next day I'll usually find some ice left in it. Disassembly of the dishwasher is simple. Mine have been around for quite some time. The only drawback is that the paint starts to peel off after a while, but that's not a big deal.
