Questions & Answers

Is it possible to wash the bottle in the dishwasher?

Sadie, how are you? I'm Shannon from Tall Ridge, and I'm here to help. Thank you for contacting us with your inquiry! No, you can't put the Hydro Flask in the dishwasher, and you can't soak it in hot water either: The dishwasher can heat up to the point where it affects the flask's insulation and discolors the powder coat. Similarly, soaking your flask in hot water for an extended period of time will cause the powder coat to discolor.

What are the measurements of the 40 oz bottle without the lid?

Chloe, how are you doing today? I'm Wendy from Tall Ridge, and I'd like to welcome you to our community. Thank you for taking the time to contact us. The 40oz Wide Mouth Hydro Flask has the following exterior measurements: The diameter is three inches. The height of the bottle (without the cap) is 10 inches, and the length of the bottle is 56 inches. 2 inches. I hope this has provided you with some insight into your query.

When I choose the 32oz white color, a picture of the 64oz appears. Is the White 32-ounce bottle the same shape as the other 32-ounce bottles?

Good day, Matthew - I'm Wendy from Tall Ridge, and I'd like to welcome you to our community. What a fantastic query! We regret the error in the photo and appreciate your alerting us to it. We've requested that it be corrected. All 32 of them, to be precise. The shape of an ounce Hydro Flask bottle is similar.

BEWARE! BUYING THIS PRODUCT IS A MISTAKE! BEWARE! These flasks came in twos, so I ordered two
3/5

On the bottom of the mint-colored one, beneath the sticker tag, there were tiny pin needles. These aren't all true hydro flasks, in my opinion. I've had my eye on these water bottles for a while now, and I even went into the store to look at them (they didn't have the colors I wanted in stores). Even though the bottles were different colors, there were no differences in the bottles. The bottles I received had very minor differences that you wouldn't notice unless you paid attention to every little detail (which I unfortunately do), but the bottoms of these flasks aren't the same, nor are the top rims of the flasks, nor are the necks of the flasks. The mint-colored one has a longer neck and a slightly larger metal ring around the opening. It's so minor that you'd never notice it, but as I mentioned, I did. I need the seller to contact me so that we can work out this problem, as I am extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with the product they are selling.

I don't know how I survived without it
5/5

This bottle is fantastic. I've been using it for about two months and don't know how I ever got along without it. I put ice and liquid in the flask. My drink is still cold and there is plenty of ice left after 24 hours. I top off the liquid and it usually lasts another day before it begins to warm up. br>br>The photos of the colored finish don't do it justice; they appeared to me to be some cheap, plastic-looking photos. such as the end result This is far from the case. The textured coating appears to be beautiful, durable, and of high quality in person. You can get a sense of the quality by zooming in on the photos, but it's much better in person. I found that the all-stainless steel quickly picked up finger smudges and appeared dirty/messy as a result. The black finish resists smudges and maintains its pristine appearance. br>br>I purchased the Hydro Flask Straw Lid separately, which makes it simple to take quick sips and then seal it back up. I had three at first. Four of the straws have cracked and lost their suction, rendering them useless. After having those replaced, I experimented a lot and discovered two ways to avoid cracking the straws:
1. Don't push the straw all the way up the lid's connector. The connector's top width is a little too large, putting strain on the straw.
2. The full length straw is actually about 1/8" too long for the 40oz flask, so it pushes against the bottom, causing a slight bend in the straw and putting even more strain on it. br>Now that I've followed the two guidelines above, my straws are holding up very well. Even so, I expect straw replacement to be a common occurrence, so I ordered a set of third-party replacements (Hydro Flask does not sell replacement straws for some reason).

I'm not sure if it's authentic or brand new
3/5

I'm not sure if it's a genuine Hydroflask or, for that matter, a brand new water bottle. I compared it to my now-broken old flask, and the mouth was different, as was the style of the word "Hydro Flask" written on the bottle. These could also be due to the fact that my previous one was a 32 oz and this one is a newer 40 oz, but I'm not sure. The fact that the cap does not completely screw on also turned me off. The cap and the base of the mouth have about a 1mm gap between them. This happened to me with an old Hydroflask, and all I had to do was remove the clear ring in the bottom of the cap, turn it over, and replace it. This brings me to my next point of contention: It supports my hypothesis that this bottle isn't brand new. Aside from that, there were scratches on the bottom, a few minor dings on the sides (nothing major), and spots on the inside of the mouth, which I know are frequently caused by someone drinking from it. There isn't enough evidence to prove it's a fake beyond a reasonable doubt, but it's clear it's not a brand new bottle. Hydroflask should be aware that a seller may be able to get away with selling used items as new, or even selling nearly perfect knock-offs. offs.

Hydroflasks are one of my favorite things in the world
5/5

It should be used on a daily basis. It has performed admirably. Scuffs, scratches, and peeling are all absent. This is the only water bottle that has lasted as long as it has. It appears to be in excellent condition. I like how wide the mouth is; it makes cleaning a breeze. The best part is that it keeps my water cool all day! I fill it with ice first thing in the morning (6 a. m. ), then with water, and I refill it with water several times throughout the day, and I still have ice by the time I get home (sometimes 7 or 8 p. m. !). The larger the size, the longer it will keep ice; I also got the 18 oz, but it doesn't keep ice as long, owing to the fact that there isn't as much ice to fit. Because of this, I prefer the larger size (40 oz). I take it with me wherever I go. It will not fit in car cup holders, but that is not a problem. I simply leave it on the seat. I was also concerned that it would be too heavy and inconvenient to transport, but it isn't! Any size larger might be too much for me. To compare, I'm going to try a 32 oz. However, I am a huge fan of hydroflasks! I'll never use another bottle of water again. Everyone should read it, in my opinion.

Water Bottle is fantastic
5/5

I chose the black Hydro Flask Water Bottle with the Wide Mouth Cap, which holds 40 ounces. This was exactly what I needed. It was neither too large nor too small. It was excellent; however, in comparison to other water bottles from various brands, it is extremely expensive. Similar water bottles are available at Costco for a lower price, but I chose this one because of the brand and logo. Everyone at school wears them, so you're essentially forced to keep up with the crowd. However, if you have the extra cash, it's still a good water bottle to have.

This is the only flask you'll ever need
5/5

Let's just say, this flask is incredible! I'd had it for a few months and had forgotten about it when I went to work with cold water one day. I decided to take a sip from it at the end of the night (14 hours total) after working an eight-hour shift and completely forgetting there was water inside. The product itself dents easily when tipped over on the floor, but that is the only negative I can think of. Overall, I give it five stars because of the size variations and how well it works.
