Lemon, in our opinion, has a brighter and more vibrant color than Sunflower, which has a more subdued hue. I recommend comparing side-by-side images of both so you can see the subtle differences. The Growler has the same stainless steel construction and insulation technology as the Growler, but it has a different cap design that is meant to keep carbonation in place. I was ecstatic because I had previously purchased and thoroughly enjoyed a Hydro Flask; I was not aware, however, that the design of the wide mouth opening had been changed, and it's a joke. I went out and bought two. 0 40oz. Because the small loops on the straw lid are a mistake and useless, I made a yellow hydro flask with an amazing sunflower paracord handle to go with it. To cut a long story short, due to this AWFUL new design, paracords DO NOT WORK ANYMORE. I overpaid $15 for a handle that I will never use. IT WILL NOT GO OVER YOUR MOUTH, AND IF YOU DO MANAGE TO GET IT OVER (which I did after 3 hours and two broken nails), IT WILL FALL OFF. I can't return the bottle or the paracord because it was a birthday present, so I'm stuck and irritated. Thank you so much for my new waste-of-time gadget. I can't use the expensive decoration because it takes up too much space.
The review is very straightforward. I went with the 64oz bottle. To be honest, I didn't want to buy the large bottle because the total would be $65, and who would pay $65 for a bottle, but I guess I did. But the reason I did was because I wanted something homemade, and I'd heard that water can stay ice cold for days, and that if it's hot for hours, summer is on the way. Now I had to bottle for two days straight, and I'd been using ice since the first day. Now that I've consumed so much water, I only drink two of the 64-ounce bottles during the day.
Unfortunately, I believe this product is a fake, and I returned mine because the water did not stay cold or hot, and the inside was rusting. I recently purchased a Hydroflask directly from Hydroflask, and it felt completely different. I am 99. 9% sure it was a forgery it was a forgery it was a forgery.
Every time I look at it, it brings me joy. I don't have to be concerned about ingesting plastic because it's made of stainless steel (except for the lid). The simple screw top is very effective - I don't like dealing with straws and all the bacteria/mold that grows in them, so there aren't any leaks. Unlike the slightly plasticky taste I used to get from using a plastic bottle, the water always tastes fresh, even if I've left it in it overnight.
I didn't check this before giving it as a birthday present. Regrettably, it is dented! It's for my daughter's tenth birthday, and she was so excited to decorate it with stickers that we decided to keep it. I'm hoping it's not dented because it's a nearly $50 water bottle. It's also a lovely color! She's ecstatic because this is exactly what she's been hoping for.
This is the next smaller size than mine, but it still holds a lot of stuff, and she prefers it because it's easier for her to handle (she's in her 70s).
I bought this for my daughter so she could have water to drink while she was at school during the pandemic; she doesn't abuse it, but it still dents if it accidentally hits something. In my car, one of those photos was pressed up against plastic. The plastic did not move or scratch the bottle, but it did dent it. It's no longer keeping the water cold for more than a few hours, and I'm starting to doubt whether this is a genuine Hydroflask. The next time I order one, I'll go to the official website. A friend of mine purchased one there, and it still looks brand new a year later. I just ordered another from Tall Ridge, and it arrived today dented as well. All they can say is that you can return it, which means I'll have to wait longer to get another Hydroflask for my daughter to take to school, and I'll have to hope that the third one arrives undamaged. It's just not worth it. Trying a different seller might be a better option.
