This is an excellent bottle. Very sturdy; I've dropped it on asphalt, smashed it against doors, and smashed it against other things with only minor damage to the bottle (the drop did leave a small dent on the bottom). In addition, the handle is smaller and more comfortable to hold! Aside from that, this water bottle keeps my water cool all day and has a convenient sized mouth (I have a small face, so the smaller spout makes drinking easier). Parts that are bad; The placement of this lid on the bottle is extremely difficult. It's sometimes spot on, but if you don't get it exactly right, your bottle won't close properly. I can always guarantee that if it's shut, no water will come out; a magnificent seal Then there's the matter of cleaning. It's impossible for me to clean the spout because it's so small. To sanitize it, I usually use boiling hot water. Overall, I'm pleased with it and plan to buy it again.
I debated between a Yeti and this because they were both the same price, but I decided on this one because video comparisons showed they both kept drinks cold for the same amount of time. I understand there were some concerns about fakes, but as soon as I received it, I knew it was definitely real (new colors are also difficult to fake quickly). The jade color is also one of my favorites. It's absolutely stunning. I also read that the straw cap can leak, so I did some research and discovered that the Takeya lids fit the wide mouth HydroFlasks perfectly. The Takeya lid keeps it from leaking! Because it's a big bottle, a hydrocord (big enough to put your arm through but small enough not to get in the way) is also recommended for carrying it. I put some filtered water from my fridge in the bottle before going to bed last night (no ice) and drank it around 10 a. m. the next day - It's still very cold!.
I was ecstatic to receive this HydroFlask for school, and I've had it for nearly a year. br>br>However, the fact that it has RUST (pictured) on the bottom of it, which appeared after about 5 or 6 months of daily use, is extremely disappointing. (The water bottle has water on the inside because I rinsed it before taking the photo. br>br>For the record, I only put water and ice in this bottle on a daily basis, and I also cleaned it thoroughly on a daily basis. br>br>I had high expectations for a well-known product. br>br>This has held up well in terms of denting and scratching. I wasn't expecting it to be dented in the first place. After a few drops, it became free, but it did not sustain any damage. If you want extra protection, you can get rubber bottoms.
The color is absolutely stunning, and I carry it with me wherever I go. When I have ice in it, it holds just the right amount of water and keeps it cold all day. If you get one, I recommend getting a straw lid as well to make drinking water much easier.
Regrettably, I believe I was the victim of a one-time fluke. I poured in my usual hot water as soon as I got it and could immediately feel the warmth as I held it. My hot water was cool and even cold an hour later, naturally, because I could feel the heat while holding it. br>Normally, during a 12-hour shift on the ambulance, my hot water stays hot and then warm.
The color combination is fantastic. It had such a lovely color scheme. It was bought as a present for someone else. It was well received by the recipient, who now uses it to transport drinks to sporting events on a regular basis. The capacity is sufficient to hold a large amount of food and eliminate the need to refill during games.
This is the second flask that I've purchased. My first laster had been stolen from work, so I had to buy another one. br>Keeps drinks cold for over 18 hours, is easy to clean, and has no effect on the taste of liquids.
I've been filling my 40oz bottle with mostly ice and a small amount of water so that I can have cold water at work. When I got it out of my car the next day, I was surprised to see that there was still Ice inside. I forgot to put more ice in it this morning, so I had to open it tonight. Still, the water was icy! I'm head over heels for you.
