It is both yes and no There is no twist cap on this, it's a push lid, but there is a seal, so the lid is not completely sealed. When the drinking hole is drained, the water will flow into the drinking hole The spillage will obviously happen in the event that the container spills/tips over. Even so, if it's sealed, there should be very little leakage. Walking or driving in the car does not result in sloshing thanks to the lid.

This cup is awesome! I love it so much. 2) the pink is not too loud and is pretty. The fact that it is pink makes it less likely for my husband to take it and lose it. Two) it keeps my drinking water superlatively My only use for it is to fill with water, but I put ice in it in the evening, and it is still cold in the morning. it's a genius idea to use a straw! It is my favorite part of the cup. I was concerned at first that the rubber piece wouldn't provide a cold drink but it does and I love it. I haven't used this for coffee yet, but the little lid on top is leak proof, so I'd expect this to be good for coffee as well.
I tend to drink my coffee slowly, and I hate when it's not heated to the right temperature when I do so. As far as temperature issues go, this cup is a step above my Starbucks cups. As a collector of tumblers and water bottles, I have quite a few. I like this a lot because it keeps things cool/hot and it fits nicely into my car cup holders. The 32 ounce tumblers are most convenient since I don't have to refill as often, but this tumbler is nice too. It's very well made, and I love the pink color and reusable straw it includes.
My only complaint is that there were no This is 19 summer, so we fill the cup with water and ice and take it out for a hike and a picnic while maintaining social distance from one another. A big part of what I like about this cup is the fact that the water stays cool for a long time.
