The contents of the box come into contact with any plastic at all? A lid (inside. ?

There is a plastic plug that screws into the box, and it screws into the box. This was a fantastic way for me to keep my coffee hot all night while I slept and hot to drink the next I didn't understand the dangers of plastic and heat until I found out you were looking as well. Is this small enough to fit in the side pouch of a backpack?

This thermos does not come with a small side pouch. Because it is slightly larger than a with you travel mug, it cannot fit in a side pouch. I like the way it seals. So I just kept mine inside my pack to avoid any leaks or drips.

Keeps my coffee hot for only a few hours
4/5

In a nutshell *This bottle is no different than many of the other cooler bottles I've tried but most lose their hotness by the time lunch comes around.
This bottle does NOT live up to its promise that it holds. The drinks I ordered did not stay "hot all day", and had only warmed up by the end of the day, far different from the advertising that stated "drinks remain hot up to 30 hours". When I called customer service they said it may have been damaged? So I bought a second one and it did the same thing. The one I have ordered has to be returned It is hard to understand how this product has good reviews at all. The specs are There is one ounce in the bottle. It stands at 5 inches. The bag is a bit heavy to lug around all day, but okay if you have a bag or backpack to carry it in. There's nothing I like more than the lid that can be used as a cup or a There is a nice rubberized grip which might assist in keeping the bottle from denting or insulating It will be necessary to keep looking for better bottles. Here's a tip You can warm the inside of the bottle up with boiling hot water before you use it. This will ensure more time is left in the bottle. br>br>If you found my review or photos helpful, please click the below helpful button so I can improve my future reviews. you so much for your kind words!.

The coffee stays hot for a long time
5/5

The truck my husband drives is a new one. Since my favorite 20+ year old Stanley thermos was too bulky for him to carry every single day, I bought him the spiffy new stainless steel version. This thermos keeps the coffee hot for up to 16 hours but I haven't used it I didn't worry about it being too bulky so it fits nicely in his lunchbox. This water bottle has a nice rubber grip around the neck. It's easy to fill and Using it to refill your cup doesn't cause him concern as long as you are paying CLOSE attention to not loosen the outer ring and cause coffee to spill out to the floor. The majority of the time, you have your hands on the Towards the end of the workweek. I have learned from this experience. If you want to pour your beverage, hold the outer ring and loosen the inner part. The thermos is a great thermos aside from that. In my opinion, this would be a good product to buy.

A great bottle of Stanley, even better than the classic
5/5

As such, I chose this as well as the classic Stanley Vacuum 1 in order to bring something to work with me every day with a reusable cup as a lid. Each bottle holds one quart. Its heat retention capabilities were far better than the Stanley's. By using a Zojirushi to boil water and a Thermapen to measure the temperature, I filled both the Stanley and the Contigo with 200 degree water and checked the temperature again eight In the Stanley, the temperature was 178 degrees, and in the Contigo, it was 167 degrees. With 16 more hours (24 total), the Stanley was sitting at a still remarkable 143 degrees, while the Contigo was at 127 degrees. up to 30 hours of hot water, although I am not sure how they calculate that). So with that out of the way, why would I still select 1) I probably won't leave my drink out there for more than 8 minutes It should have been 24 hours to begin with. If I'm feeling particularly hungry, I'll eat it in four It is not a big difference in temperature, so it isn't that bad. *2) The Contigo is much more portable I can fit this standing up inside my lunch cooler bag, and my Stanley is way too heavy and cumbersome to be packed with anything else. 3) The lid/cup on the Contigo is much The Victoria weighs close to 8 ounces and is insulated well, while the Stanley is about 5 inches wide and weighs 1 pound Glass provides all the insulation of a book and weighs only a few ounces. The hot water is too hot to hold with hot fingers unless you like to burn them. Contigo, on the other hand, has a rubbery surface, which is easily cleaned as well as having a nice finish. With regards to clean, I like that I don't have to boil water in the Contigo. I can just pour hot water into the lid and let it brew fresh tea one cup at a time. The lid of the Stanley is too small to allow you this access. I absolutely love the half-moon silhouette 4) This mechanism allows the Contigo to pour by twisting it. If it's been closed a bit, you can just crack it open a tiny bit, pour water into your lid/mug, and close it a tiny bit. When you pour with the Stanley, you have to unscrew the (surprisingly deep) bottle stopper every time, and then find a place to put the stopper while you fill the bottle. The tiny cup often makes you use it often (which can be an issue. That is a First World issue to be complaining about, but after using the Contigo system, anything else is a hassle. In summary, if you are in the market for this kind of bottle, you won't regret buying this.
