I do not recommend using a microwave. You can store cold foods in these, but they are not suitable for re-heating A heating system. Those are the ones I bought for make-up You can make overnight oatmeal, chia pudding, and granola with this method. We had a little disaster when I microwaved the water for grits.
In addition to the nice labels and markers, there is a nice package included.
This jar is a good size and quality, but be sure not to expose it to any extreme heat since it will melt. It only keeps food cold or at room temperature.
Based on what I read in the description and the questions regarding leakage, I bought this item. There were a lot of good comments about it, but after I used it and put it to the "leak test", it didn't hold up to my expectations. Besides making sure the lid was on tightly, I packed it into bubble wrap and sent it out with liquid inside It wasn't going to move during transportation so I taped the lid To prevent leaks, we made sure there was extra padding in the transport vessel. The problem only became apparent once the package was received by the customer. Throughout the interior of the package, the liquid leaked. After I found out the lid had been secured tightly, I did a test at home and turned the jar upside down, then turned it back up after a few minutes, and liquid seeped out The fact that I found this out after spending money on something I thought was promising is disappointing.
My classroom has been equipped with these jars so students can use them as piggy banks. A slit was cut in the lid for coins to fit through, made by my husband. I haven't cracked the lids and they have been holding up for about a month. It is made of thick plastic, so it is not lightweight. It would be a good idea to store crafts in these jars. Because I haven't tried to put food in them or liquids in them, I have no idea how leak-proof they are. It should be noted that the stickers that came with the jars have not yet held up well, and the marker is not permanent, so in case something wet touches the writing, it will simply.
Using these jars for my skincare business is a must for me. Not susceptible to leaks.
The good thing about these containers is that they are very durable and visible, so they are great to have when you are travelling. You can put small snacks or treat in them and toss them in your bag. It's also possible to label things at home so they can be stored and arranged. In case of need, I will buy more.
